Week 2 2025 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (2 Viewers)

Caleb Williams @ Detroit
JJ McCarthy v Atlanta

ATM I have JJ in but, I'm really thinking the Vikings are going to try and be run focused early in the season and this seems like a Falcons defense that can be run on.

The Bears should have to try and keep up with the Lions on the scoreboard and, despite his short comings, Caleb is probably going to have to a lot more than JJ.
Probably closer than it seems, but I lean Caleb.

I have a feeling this is going to be an angry DET D at home, in a divisional game after an embarrassing divisional loss.

ATL’s D is a lot softer (hey! Phrasing!) than MIN but it’s hard to lean into JJM at the moment.

Through gritted teeth imma say Caleb, but I wouldn’t be shocked if he had a terrible game.

I like JJ here. Divisional game could be low scoring. I trust O'Connell to start opening up the playbook each game. Falcons are notorious for giving up big plays. TJ and Jefferson eat today.

Slight nod towards JJ. Confidence gained from the comeback win last week, first home game. Think Caleb started strong but faded pretty badly. Not supremely confident but lean JJ.

Travis Hunter @ CIN
Tyreek Hill v NE
Man, tough one. Someone pointed out in the BTJ thread that, apparently Hunter has jumped into the Godwin slot role and that Coen's offense flows through that position. I'm not smrt enough to know how big of an impact that is but, it did get me to ever so slightly question moving early on BTJ.

But Tyreek... how to you handicap this guy and that Dolphins team? Did their "closed door" meeting do anything or is the fire sale about to begin? Surprisingly tough, tough call which, tells you how down I am on the Dolphins ATM.

Still, Tyreek is so talented and Hunter is still a rookie...

With very little confidence...

Flex spor:
Hollywood Brown
Or
Treyveon Henderson
Full PPR I lean Brown. I like Henderson and think he could have a great game against Miami, it's certainly the better matchup. But, Brown should see 10 targets from one of the best so, he seems like a safer floor option with solid upside.

Brown>Henderson
I went Brown. And I think that was the right answer process-wise.

I didn't even include the right answer, which was Jaylen Waddle. And, given the week prior, I don't think anyone would have told me to go Waddle. You certainly couldn't have talked me into it.

I'm currently down 28 with Bucky, Egbuka, and McLaughlin to go. He's got the lead and Brock Bowers. Sleeper projects me to lose by 3. Hopefully the TB offense balls out and saves me.

I certainly wouldn't have suggested Waddle either. As you say "process wise" Brown was the right call in a full PPR league. Still, it doesn't make me happy to have benched Jameson for him in one league.
