Top 5 WRs ROS? (1 Viewer)

CJ

AJ

Cruz

Marshall

White

Wayne

Jones

Harvin

Okay, okay- I couldn't do it, either... :penalty:

Top 4/8? I can't pull that second tier apart.

Your :2cents: ??

CJ, Julio, Harvin, Marshall
AJ Green - Super talent and Dalton's main target, but with enough talent around him in Hawkins and Binns to keep D's honest.Harvin - Assuming the hammy issue isn't major, an all around stud and Peterson and Rudolph also can keep D's honest yet not impose too much on Harvin's domain.Cruz - Eli's security blanket.Calvin - His "underperfomance" to date is still terrific by most other WRs' standards.Wayne - Getting a ton of targets in a pass first offense.Just missing the cut: Julio. I think Julio, White, and Gonzo will take turns having terrific games.

Hard to exclude Colston from this list for me, as I don't see him slowing down too much, but since I can only list five . . . Dwayne Bowe deserves some consideration (the guy has been a beast), but poor QB play will limit him. Demaryius Thomas just misses the cut, but could easily finish top 5 ROS. Julio and Roddy are both terrific (and could BOTH be in the top 5 ROS), but they split some really good numbers (also with Gonzo). Once Nicks returns, I think the same goes with Cruz and Nicks. I worry Welker's numbers may decline with the return of Hernandez. Jordy Nelson/Greg Jennings . . . Larry Fitzgerald . . . the list goes on, all with a realistic chance to be top 5 ROS.

Tough to pick just 5, as there is a great logjam at or near the top, and this shows WR is the one position with great depth at the top. Interesting to see such varied responses.

I think Megatron is the ONLY unanimous pick. Very interesting.
Yeah, I don't think Megatron is going to be top 5 ROS. Defenses are taking him away more effectively than in the past, so he's getting fewer targets, and the offense just hasn't been clicking. In non-PPR, he's WR17 so far. I can see him moving up to top 10, but I don't think he'll be top 5. In non-PPR, I like:A.J. GreenHarvinWayneCruzMarshallThese guys are all target monsters and are putting up huge yardage. Very stable and should all have a very good chance of maintaining their numbers.

I own AJ and Cruz and would not deal either s/u for CJ.

Colston needs to be considered. He's exploded the last two weeks on a team with a horrific defense with Brees passing a ton this year.

With White, Cruz- and a very pleasant surprise in Wayne - all in about the same tier, figuring out who to trade for depth elsewhere is a beeyotch... :loco:

When Moore comes back, I think Colston will come back down in targets, too. He's also more of an injury risk than most of his competition for top 5.

Colston is too low in non-ppr. You do realize Welker is about to take a big hit?

It's been said a million times this year, especially before the season started, but looking at this list, the depth at WR is just insane. Gotta include a healthy Jennings in the middle of this list too..I believe Rodgers sorely misses him..but of course his health is shaky at best. If his groin fully heals, he could be gold during the 2nd half of the fantasy season.

Tough call, you have to keep in mind that players off to great starts will slow down and vice-versa. What scoring system are we assuming here? I play 0.5 PPR so that's what I'll go with:

1. Calvin Johnson

2. Julio Jones

3. Percy Harvin

4. Victor Cruz

5. Demaryius Thomas
