Top IDP sleepers in 2010? (1 Viewer)

I'd say DeAndre Levy is kind of a sleeper. He is a stud of a LB. Who has done really well when he has started for the Lions at WLB and MLB.

Gerald McRath

Tim Dobbins

William Hayes

Tyrone McKenzie

Lawrence Sidbury

Keyaron Fox

Derrick Johnson

Lots of others I'm sure.

With Larry Foote's contract up, Levy will more than likely be the Lions' starting middle linebacker on Week 1 in 2010. He has a ton of upside and should be a sleeper target in IDP leagues.
Might the talented Levy, manning the middle of a Lions defense that should continue to be on the field with inordinate regularity, potentially have #1 LB upside going forward?

This is why I love FBG. I'm already scouting in January. Cheers!

Do you see Derrick Johnson doing well in KC, or getting moved or leaving as a free agent? I am one who picked up Johnson for this past season, and was THOROUGHLY disappointed in his 2009 numbers. I managed to pick up Demorrio Williams as well, and rode him to the championship game, so do you see Johnson overtaking him next season after his quality year?

Goldson has caught my eye.

I am waiting to see where Sean Weatherspoon gets drafted. I have a feeling he may be converted to SS in the NFL and make an immediate impact.

I also am interested to see if William Moore can break out next year.

Okay, I admit it, I am partial to Missouri players.

Really like Derrick Johnson and Keyaron Fox.Good homework to know about Fox. R u a Steeler Fan treat88?
I like DJ to bounce back as well.I'm less optimistic about Fox. He just finished his 6th season in the NFL. I'm not sure if they view him as a potential replacement to Farrior or at OLB since they keep drafting LBs high who step in front of him.

He had a nice run with KC in 06 but I think he's really just a ST/ sub type player

K. Fox

Through and through.Fox isn't a great backer, but Farrior is on a steep decline. If Farrior drops off completely, I see Timmons shifting to the blitz/cover spot and Fox playing a 2 down thumper role, which he is well suited for. I doubt he ever plays nickel snaps. If all the above were to happen Fox might be in the LB4 range for fantasy purposes.

What do we think of Ellerbe - ILB for the Ravens? He finished the game today with 10 solos and looked like a ball hawk. I"ll have to go check how many plays he was in on at pff but this guy is looking like he's going to be in the starting lineup for sure next year..........any thoughts balty homers?

What about Siler for SD? He seems to have played very well the 2nd half of the season and is only 24.

Brad Jones for GB may be more involved next year.

Ahmad Brooks SF looked like a monster the 2nd half of the season and there was talk of him playing a much bigger role next year.

I am also curious about Michael Mitchell of Oakland who had limited snaps this year, but could play a lot more next year and have Branch move over to the FS position.

Larry English also for SD I think will get a lot more playing time next year, it really will be interesting to see how the SD LB'ers start next year as they tend to be solid IDP'ers.

According to PFF, Dannell Ellerbe had major problems defending against the pass but his run-stop was on the plus against Indi. He is young and was playing against the best QB in football so I guess it's not the end of the world. Can any Baltimore homers chime in about this guy? Does he have what it takes to play 3 downs next to Lewis next year? I fear that his liability in pass coverage will limit him to 2 downs. His competion is not that great though.

Also does anybody have any comments on how accurate those "grades" are at PFF for individual players in a game/season? Does anybody actually use them to judge the future of whether a player will be a starter?
