Trade Chubb for Legette? (1 Viewer)

This is a 12 team SF dynasty best ball .5 TEP start 10 orphan take over. I’ve got a guy willing to give me Xavier Legette for my Nick Chubb straight up. Is Legette worth having or would I be better off waiting till the season starts to shop Chubb? I am worried Houston adds Bri Rob and scuttles whatever perceived value Chubb has now.
My team is a mixed bag: Josh Allen, Ward, Stafford, Jeanty, King Henry, Harvey, Chubb, Worthy, Kupp, Diggs, Juaun Jennings, DHop, Palmer, Kittle, JFerg, Chig, Arroyo.

It's certainly fair value, with the Legette side slightly ahead in our Dynasty Trade Value chart based on age and position. You hit the nail on the head. Wait to see if Chubb is worth more in 2 weeks, but risk tanking his value. Based on our Training Camp reports, Legette will start this year, but Jalen Coker has made more of an impression. All in all, you could probably do better, but you would need to act fast. Is the Legette manager the Mixon owner? If not, maybe try shopping Chubb there to see if they have a WR you like better.

That is a great idea. I did run an offer by the Mixon man. I sent him I give him Chubb and my 2028 3rd for his 2028 2nd. I got a swift decline with no counter. We only have three rounds to our rookie draft so I can't go any lower pick wise lol. He's got Dont'e Thornton, who is interesting but maybe still too much of a wildcard? Maybe ask for Thornton and a third rounder?

Follow up: I just saw Jakobi Myers has requested a trade. Did Thornton just get more valuable?
I think Thornton is a sneaky value regardless. His role won't change much sans Meyers, but he could absorb some targets. He is going to play outside, and no other receiver on the team matches his size and athleticism. If you can land him, do it now, he's probably still cheap.

Tre Tucker is a forgotten man there.
I don't like him for FF because he's only 5-9 and the production was never there when I desperately needed a starter last year. He's curiously forgotten but he's a starter and had a real good camp.

Amari Cooper signing is probably for red zone work. That's often the case with older WRs.

Two rookies more or less splitting a starting spot was an odd setup.

At this point I decided not to mess with a slew of guys that are essentially getting Bowers (and Jakobi's?) leftovers.

If you have to, I think you need to see coach's pet Tucker knocked down a peg and you'd want the rookie Amari doesn't replace in the red zone
