Trades at the Deadline (1 Viewer)

The rumor here in KC last night was that Chiefs brass was trying to work a deal for Leonard Davis-LT-ARIZ. He is the best they have obviously, but I don't know how much Iike this if it happens.

Don't know if KC players were involved or not.

Rumor here in Tampa is Bucs after Davis as well and also Nate Clements

On the block per rumors. Simeon, Booger, Jermaine Phillips, Brian Kelly

There's a possibility you could see Derrick Blaylock dealt from the Jets. The Jets have no real use for him and he will probably draw some small interest.

The NY Daily News mentions that he is a possibility to get dealt as well.

Eagles supposedly activated DT Sam Rayburn in the saints game to showcase him for a possible trade this week. Havent heard anything about it yet.

Lions are shopping Mike Williams. Word is they have tried to work with the Raiders on a Williams for Porter, but the Radiers can't get it done on their end (cap issues). Also, speculation the Lions could shop Williams to Tampa in a deal involving McFarland or Kelly (probably just a rumor based on the Marinelli ties).

No effing rumors out of Indy for a potential trade for Booger. Figures! That is Polian's way, draft em, and let em sink or swim. Why not freaking help the Colts interior line? Jeezus!

Buccaneers | Could be active as trade deadline approachesTue, 17 Oct 2006 10:29:03 -0700Buccaneers.com reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden admitted the club has targeted a few players that they'd like to acquire before the NFL trading deadline Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 4 p.m. EST. "We're always going to be in a position to make deals, I hope, if we feel like a deal can help our team," said Gruden. "And we are looking into some specific players in the league – not everybody, but we are targeting specific players and the opportunity, of acquiring them. I am not going to speculate on defensive players, offensive players, or future draft picks. There are specific guys that we would like to have – that's all I'll say."

he said that at a press conference yesterday

As a Charger fan I heard that AJ Smith was shopping Donnie Edwards. I know he was shopping him prior to the start of the season but obviously that never panned out. I would think O-lineman depth would be fair for an aging LB.

Yeah because Arizona can really afford to give up any talent on the offensive line.Actually, maybe they would be better off playing with extra RBs or something because the line don't seem to be blocking anyway.

I read on Foxsports/Ben Maller that the Chargers are still looking for a 2nd round pick for him. Steep.

It was a 3rd in the off-season wasnt it? If I recall the Saints offered a 4th but it was rejected because the Chargers wanted a 3rd.Apparently the price went up.

I heard a Booger for Nate Clements was in the works. BK may need surgery, and we were eyeing Woodson so...
How would you like to be poor Nate Clements if this happens?"They traded me, and I was only worth a booger!"

Don't have any idea who they want but I expect the Buc's to involved in some deals.

Seeing how he is the team's leading tackler with 25 tackles, 20 solo, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery and 1 INT, I would say the price did go up. Not too bad for a guy that is in his 11th NFL season and is a proven commodity.
