Trading Draft Picks? (1 Viewer)

In a big money league I have the 7th pick in a snake draft. The guy with the 11th pick wants to sway spots throughout the draft.

I don't love drafting from the middle of the round and am considering it because I don't see a big drop off from 7 to 11 in round 1 and actually like drafting back to back.

Thoughts?

Seems like a no-brainer if it's allowed by the league and you'd rather be at 11 anyway.
If you want, you could charge him a bit by asking for a pick or just an odd round pick swap in exchange for swapping slots.
But then maybe he'd find someone else in the area to swap and then you're stuck back at 7.

Back to back picks or closer to BTB? Probably 12 teams an not BTB. But, if you like the spot, trade him.

I hate drafting in the middle. I would accept that deal as fast as I could.

I wouldn't mess around with trying to get something to swap spots. It's the luck of the draw. There is no advantage gained or loss. You are just swapping cards. It's why for all my snake drafts we instituted a "pick your own spot" method. You pick the ace you choose where to draft......2nd chooses next on down the line. It helps avoid this kind of thing.

That's my thinking--I hate the mid-round picks and once you are past the first 2, maybe 3 rounds I don't even think it matters.
