Is the a rule in the NFL similar to the NBA that you cant flip a player for a month?

I would imagine that Tampa could deal for Favre for 50 cents on the dollar and then turn around and get closer to full value by flipping him to Minnesota or Chicago

I don't think any team wants to burn bridges with GB and there is probably salary cap consequences.

Because Green Bay would have traded him to the Vikes had they been interested for a 1st round pick. Since that's what a team would want in order to "flip" him, they wouldn't be any more interested than they aren't now.
