Travis Henry OUT Tonight (1 Viewer)

Via Pro Football Talk.com:

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Broncos running back Travis Henry won't play on Monday night due to a lingering knee problem.

On Friday, Henry attended an appeal hearing on his looming one-year suspension for violation of the league's substance-abuse policy. Schefter reports that a ruling is not expected until next week; thus, Henry still might be able to play in Denver's Week Twelve trip to Chicago.

Henry would have had an opportunity to face his former team, the Titans, if he had been able to play.

If Haynesworth sits, Young has the potential to have a VERY nice game tonight.
:blackdot: There's another thread showing an article stating Haynesworth "figures to miss tonights game." If true, Young could put up some very good points.

Thanks for the info Packer. I'll still breathe a little easier once that inactive list comes out. Perfect timing though - 4 and a half hours before game time and I for one was getting antsy for any info... still a lot of will he go/ won't he with both Henry's, a Haynesworth and Brown. Nice to have one question answered.

Sounds like Haynesworth might play:

speaking with Jim Schwartz on the plan to Denver"

"Do you expect Haynesworth to go tonight?"

[...]Anyway, Schwartz said both defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth (hamstring) and cornerback Nick Harper (neck) would be game-time decisions, but indicated that Haynesworth was much closer to being ready than he was last week against the Jaguars.

"I knew there was no way last week," he said. "He might be able to do it now."

I never thought Henry would play,Mike was just playing his games as

long as possible.

I hope Albert doesn't play,I need 15 pts to win my division and gain a 1st round bye.

Looking to see Hall get some carries tonight for Denver, he could end up being the dark horse in this RB mess.
I've heard this Andre Hall being mentioned around too many times, but until now, all we hear from Shanny is how Selvin has impressed him from preseason onwards.

Here's a link I was able to find for the story Packerfan referred to (from MyFantasyLeague though Rotoworld):

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports Travis Henry (knee) will not play on Monday night against the Titans.

Impact: Schefter adds that no ruling on the appeal of Henry's one-year suspension is expected until next week, so he might be able to play at Chicago in Week 12 if his knee progresses before then. We'll have the Broncos' inactives list posted on the site roughly an hour before game time, but it looks like Selvin Young will start and dominate the carries against Tennessee.

Seriously, if this drags until next weekend it will be an even bigger mess as the Broncos play @ Chicago in an afternoon game. Most important is that the guy gets a fair shot at defending himself... but man, just when you think the Denver RB situation couldn't possibly get more confusing...
