That contract is the biggest sympathy deal I have ever seen. When I heard he got 4 mil GUARANTEED, I almost crapped myself. And it is not as if Green was a STL lifer, Martz basically had to convince Vermeil to grab him in 1999.

This might be the worst signing this offseason. If he had signed for a year for 1 mil I would probably see it, but this is just stupid.
