Trent Green (1 Viewer)

I have been sitting on Trent Green all year, and now that the playoff picture is shaping up, I am not sure if I should continue to do so. In a 10 team league with limited rosters, Huard is still on the ww. I am considering swapping Green for Huard, but don't want to make a huge mistake by giving someone else a shot at Trent. I have good depth at the qb position, so I do not need either Huard or Green right away, but it would be nice to have the Chief starting qb heading into the stretch run.

Other Green owners - have you hung onto this guy? If you had to choose between him and Huard who would you take....anyone with a crystal ball?

I immediately dropped him week 2 for Grossman, which has worked out well. My other QB was Vick though.

I'm hanging on to Green until I hear a definitive answer from the Chiefs that he won't start when he returns.

That said, if Huard lights it up again this week...I may reconsider.

Green cleared to practice

Trent Green, QB KC

News: Chiefs QB Trent Green could be cleared to begin fulltime practice this week for the first time since he sustained a severe concussion in the opener on Sept. 10. "They're going to get the tests tomorrow. They'll read his evaluation tomorrow and they'll let him know if they'll let him start participating in team stuff," coach Herm Edwards said. If Green does get cleared to play, it will force a decision whether he or Damon Huard will start.

Analysis: If you're relying on Huard, you should run out and pick up Green just in case he does get the nod to start for the Chiefs in Week 11 vs. Oakland. With Tony Gonzalez out, the Chiefs may decide to get Green back in there to keep the team afloat with veterans.
