Philly DT Trevor Laws had a very nice game, 6 tackles and a sack, is this guy starting now or was this all in relief? I realize the Jags suck and may be the worst team in the NFL, but that is a monster game from a DT and my league is a must start DT league. Any feedback on this guy would be appreciated.

wondering the same thing ...I am hurting bad at DL Biermann,hardy,evrett brown and stylez 5 pt sack 1 pt tackle i want to move on Laws if this will be the trend or is this an aberration

he isn't a starter and has been used in the usual Philly heavy rotation. His play will probably earn him more PT but that may have been his career game

he was a second round pick. makes me think that he'll be a definite part of the rotation. worth keeping an eye on for dynasty purposes?

Even though this is probably the case, I really like Trevor Laws' talent. Guy just makes plays when he's on the field. In college he led Notre Dame in tackles his senior year with over 100 tackles, and that was as a DT. He's got everything you look for, he's quick, relentless, tackles well, can rush the passer. If you have the space or play in dynasty leagues I'd definitely pick him up if you have a DT requirement.

I was also noticing that he was a 2nd round pick and figured maybe he was finally getting a shot to play.

I really like Laws I think the Eagles have groomed him nicely and I see him as the starter at DT going forward. Not sure he will put up a ton of Fantasy points but the guys future is bright. He might get a sneaky sack this week on McNabb. You never know what the hell McDermitt will do with this defense.
