Anybody watch the game? He put up a big fat zero. Did he play at all? I'm guessing he wasn't at weakside.

guy had one freakin solo. i am presuming it was due to the shotgun formations the broncos were in most of the time and the fact he plays weakside only in base formations. anyone see this game, can chime in?

Of the series I watched, Scott was being used the same way. The same base issues applied -- he's not a fluid linebacker, doesn't read quickly and gets caught in trash easily on most plays. The matchup, as noted in his threads last week -- spread offense forcing more nickel snaps against a very strong LT -- was a hindrance as well. The LT matchup this week isn't much better, but the overall expectation should be closer to his first two week's WLB/RDE production than last week's numbers.

I'll be curious if they keep him there in the offseason to give him a real opportunity to learn the position. It seems like they really would like to find a spot for him.

I'm pretty sure the Raiders have no one of any consequence signed at the linebacker position (unless you include Scott's recent switch) for next season. It'll be very interesting to watch the process unfold through the first six months of 2010.

They do some serious research at PFF (They watch every play of every game on every player), I would say if the said it, it happened.
