Trip's Top 5 FFPC Best Ball Values (1 Viewer)

1.  Jamison Crowder - When Sam Darnold returned from Illness in 2019 Crowder demonstrated a consistency in both targets and receptions throughout the remainder of the season averaging over 4 receptions and .5 TDs per game.   Even with Darnold's absence in the early part of the season Crowder finished as the #32 WR.   Crowder is currently going as the 49th WR off the board in FFPC Best Ball drafts even though he is Darnold's most proven pass catcher heading into the 2020 season.   With the loss of Robby Anderson and another year under young Darnold's belt, don't be surprised if Crowder provides excess value at his current ADP.

2.  Chris Carson - Currently coming off the board as RB#22 many don't realize Carson actually finished #10 in RB scoring last year.   So what has changed?  The Seahawks used a 4th round pick on rookie Dee Jay Dallas and Rashaad Penny is starting the year on the PUP list recovering from an ACL injury.   If you're worried about Dallas, don't be.  Dallas is a cheap handcuff and even if he does flash as a rookie he is unlikely to supplant Carson as the bellcow after Carson's impressive 2019 campaign where he averaged 4.4 yards per carry not to mention terrific passing game efficiency.

3.  DeSean Jackson - After spending some time on the IR in 2019, Jackson is arguably the most dangerous starting WR heading into the Eagles 2020 season.  If you've watched last year's tape you probably noted that prior to injury Jackson had not lost a step.   While Jackson may not have top 10 upside or game to game consistency like he did in his prime, he does offer terrific middle round value in best ball formats due to his ability to make big plays.  As the 64th WR coming off the board, you can do far worse deep into your best ball draft.

4.  Marvin Jones - Jones finished #24 in WR scoring in 2019 with just 13 games.  His 2019  ranking no doubt bolstered by what appears to be a disproportionate amount of TDs with 9 on only 62 receptions.  Digging just a bit deeper one might note that this is the second time in 4 years and the third time in 6   years that Marvin has reached the 9 TD mark.   It's also worth noting that Stafford only played 8 games in 2019.  What happens if Marvin plays a full 16 with Stafford in 2020?   Don't sleep on Marvin and be sure to draft him around his WR #46 ADP. as he'll surpass that value with any kind of luck in 2020.

5.  CJ Uzomah - Tyler Eifert has left for the Jaguars and his 63 tightend targets need a home.  Enter CJ Uzomah, whose catching proficiency partially made Eifert expendable this past offseason.   If you are a Joe Burrow truther like me you don't have to connect too many dots to forecast Uzomah exceeding his TE #36 ADP. Uzomah is worth a late round TE flier in most formats.
