Devil's Advocate
In NFL history, only five QBs had back-to-back games with 400+ yards passing. Name 'em.

NO CHEATING!!!

You could win some decent money in a bar with this one.

I know Cassel did this subbing in for Brady in 08.I'll wager some guesses for the other 4:

Warner

Marino

Fouts

Ken O'Brien

ETA: I chose O'Brien as an "unlikely"/""surprise" candidate. But thinking about it more, Warren Moon might be a better guess -- I know he had a ton of 400+ games, can't recall without looking it up whether he had back-to-backs.

Cassel, Fouts and Marino are correct. Two more.

Edit to address your edit: NO to Moon.

Volek did this a couple of years ago.....I have no idea who the other one would be, I would guess Peyton though.

Drew Bledsoe and Phil Simms?I'll let others join in the fun -- I could do this all night.
Yes to Simms! How in the world did you get that? I would have never guessed him in a million years. Excellent QB, but not a guy you think of in terms of huge yardage most weeks. He had 432 in a 30-29 loss to the Cowboys, and 513 ( ) in a 35-30 loss to the Bengals, consecutively in 1985.

Thanks Raiders. That was fun. You're right though. Never would have thought Simms had done that kind of thing statistically.

Total lucky guess. I was going with guys I knew either threw for a lot of 400 games (Bledsoe had to have more than 5), and sleeper candidates who were successful with prolific passing offences that went far in postseason play. And Simms was on my mind from listening to him blather on Dan Patrick's show. But honestly, I could have just as easily typed some other wildcard candidates I was thinking of: Bulger, Kosar and Randall Cunningham.

Thanks, RN -- that was great. BTW, while I've always paid attention to your posts in the pool, I never noticed your member no. -- very close to mine!

Must have hit enter a nanosecond before you did in the transition from Ol' Yeller....
