Trophy names (1 Viewer)

My league just stepped up and bought a $100 trophy and we are currently looking to give it a good name. I have not seen it, but I think it is just a bronze like statue of a football player on a base.

Our league name is "It's Gonna Get Ugly" and the league consists of old fraternity brothers. Naming it the IGGU trophy just seems boring. I'm looking for any suggestions for a name and I’m also interested in hearing any of the clever names other leagues have come up with for a trophy and/or what they call their championship game.

It's the "Championship Trophy" or the "Trophy to be Named Later".

Once one of the owners in the league dies, it'll be named after him.

Now there's a pleasant thought. You could just name it "The Ugly Trophy" - has a nice ring to it.In our league, my father and I have one the trophy 2 of the first 3 years and are trying to get the league to name it the "Double G Trophy", as I am a Jr. and therefore have the same name. We are using the "Lombardi" precedent as the basis for our point

Of course, since neither of you have won it more than once, and it doesn't sound like it was even two in a row...not really anything like Lombardi, is it?

Our trophy is the title of our league. The Real Deal then under that it says fantasy football champion. It works well for us. We are going on 5 years.

We went with the obvious choice: THE HAPPY ENDING

its about 2 beer bottles tall and one owner had to fly back to Texas from CA with it and he didnt have any checked baggage.

As for the championship trophy, I just got one of my old Pop Warner football trophies that my mom was going to pitch and just had the nameplate re-done............kinda retro and very cheap!

But, let me suggest: Go to a trophy store and buy a "Cheerleader Trophy" (ours is a bobblehead cheerleader COST: $5-10 here's what it looks like)

We give this baby to the worst team in the league. In our league, I think people are more interested in seeing this owner given the trophy than the championship one.

 You're not helping.

Our baseball league is subtitled "the quest for the Niedenfuer Cup." The "Niedenfuer Cup" is awarded to the winner.

Our cup was named the M.U.F.F. Cup. It stands for the Mr. Ultimate Fantasy Football Cup. Although the name got changed a little this last year when we had a wife (first woman to win our league or ever play in it for that matter) win the cup. She changed it to the Mrs. Ultimate Fantasy Football Cup.....but still calls it the Muff Cup....You gotta like her.
