RepealThe19th (as in 19th amendment, giving women the right to vote)  has been trending on Twitter the last 2 day and holy crap...are we that stupid??  

First off, apparently it was started as a map created by a site fivethirtyeight.com that showed what would happen if only men voted, right next a map showing if only women voted. Innocent enough. the someone (LA Times) linked it to the hashtag and claimed that Trump supporters were actively trying to get the 19th Amendment repealed so that he can win. 

Que the firestorm. 

Honestly, how does anyone even think that having this amendment actually repealed is physically possible?? 20 or so days away, and Trump isn't even in any government position to even make this a remote possibility...as if it even could anyway.  If you read the twitter responses to it you would think that it was sitting on the presidents desk ready to get signed. I don't get it...why does anyone feed into this troll ####. It makes everyone look so GD dumb and completely clouds any reasonable discussion (as if it was possible anyway) about this election.

Well, Eric Trump, the little scamp, tweeted out the graph of "If only men voted" saying that the Trump campaign was "gaining momentum".

I'm pretty sure this is mostly trolls, but then again Trump supports are right up there next to ISIS as some of the worst humans on the planet.

 
Well, to be honest, you can probably make a pretty fair case that the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th Amendments were the worst 4 amendment stretch in the Constitution.

If you wanted to.

You know, make that argument.

We did repeal one of them already.

So, you know, precedent.

I'll show myself out.

 
Another attempt by the liberal media to throw a piece of crap against the wall and hope that it sticks.   Fortunately, the public sees right through this.  The reason it is trending is because each DNC intern likely has 1000 Twitter accounts.

The people that have made sure that The Kardashians have their own TV show, that Honey Boo Boo is part of our lexicon, and who have managed to get everything pumpkin into every store on the planet this time of year have the right to vote.

Some people are a little annoyed about that.

That is both sides in a nutshell.

I remember seeing a YouTube a while back of someone walking around a college campus asking women if they were for ending women's suffrage.  Everyone asked was onboard. :lol:

the scary part is that there are troves of women on crackbook saying that they'd gladly give up their right to vote in order for trump to win.

 
Is this finally the point where the Trump supporters and HRC supporters slaughter each other and leave the rest of the normal population to live in peace? Doubtful :kicksrock:

It was obvious to everyone except the exceptionally dimwitted. You took the bait and ran with it, couldn't help yourself. As long as there are flaming liberal sheep like you to worship at the teet of the gov't, think anyone that is not in lockstep with your way of thinking is a racist or bigot or misogynist is out there; there will be plenty of my side smacking you over the head with a reality check. Deal with it because we're not going anywhere. This isn't about these two losers running for President.  We lost a long time ago in that regard.

But you'll always have message boards and social media to run to for comfort and coddling. So you've got that going for you nancy boy.

The funny part, is that I'm not flaming, or a sheep. I lean liberal, more of a libertarian really. We probably would agree on a lot of things.

It's not that you don't agree with me that makes you racist, it's that you support with a categorically proven racist and misogynist. 

Nothing would make me happier than HRC getting elected, and promptly being impeached. I don't want Trump or HRC, but I'll take the lesser of two evils any day.

And yet Bill Clinton got elected twice and you didn't blink an eye.  But somehow you now have an issue with Donald Trump (if what you say is true).

How simple minded do you need to be to reference horrible things being allowed in the past as a justification of them continuing in the future?
