Two pointers about the PHI-SF Week 6 game (1 Viewer)

Eagles fan with no inside knowledge, but these are my two cents.

1. Do not take the Eagles if you're still alive in any survivor pools. Their record in the game before the bye week is abysmal under Reid. I think they've only won it once. Plus, they are traveling all the way out to SF and Westbrook might not play or could be limited.

2. If you are desperate at TE, start Vernon Davis or Delanie Walker. The Eagles simply cannot cover the tight end. Their OLBs are too slow for it, and their safeties are better hitters than cover guys. Cooley and Witten had big days against them, as expected, but so did Randy McMichael (relative to the rest of the Rams), Heath Miller (relative to the rest of the Steelers), and Greg Olson. As an Eagles fan, I'm hoping Martz continues to be myopic in his game planning and ignores this, but with our luck, he won't be.

It's been well documented that Martz is failing to utilize VD and Davis is not happy about it.

I expect the Eagles to win in a blowout off multiple turnovers from JTO.

Stewart Bradley is is killing them on pass coverage....

Gore might be effective out of the backfield in receptions more than the TE's

I hope you're right. But this just screams "game we lose that we should have won." Reid and Co. pull a few of those every year. It would be three such games in a row, but maybe it's just that kind of year.

Neither of the SF tight ends were able to catch anything last week. I wouldn't feel comfortable playing them at all.

Their OLBs are too slow for it,
i think it's more trey use them for run support. Gocong and Gaither are plenty fast.
I wouldn't call them "plenty fast" when the TE runs a 4.38.
He's not a TE anymore...I think this week MFL will officially change his position to OT...He has more pancakes than targets in 2008
I just worry about his one good game a year that gives people false hope.
