Panthers waived him yesterday, and he will be claimed fast I'm sure. Playing behind D-Will, J-Stew and Mike Goodson, he hasn't been able to show much of his ability, but I'm telling you he is a very good back, with great receiving ability and quickness. In the right system, he could be very productive. If you have a spot, pick him up and see what happens. Arizona would be a very nice spot for him to get instant fantasy value.

He couldn't beat out Jackson or Wynn in Green Bay. He couldn't get on the field last year with Williams and Stewart both hurting. They gave Goodson all the carries. That tells you everything you need to know about him, IMO.

some of you can argue about his talent (I don't care to) but he is only a fantasy add IF/WHEN he signs with an NFL team and unless you have very large rosters (none of the leagues I play in would I be able to add him without throwing away someone with more current value) it will depend on where he lands

If you wait til then, it may be too late.

u guys must have some crazy deep rosters if u have the ability to add players that arent even on nfl rosters

I held on to him all last season and this offseason in my dynasty league. 25 man rosters. I'm thrilled he will get a chance with another team.

For the record, he was hurt last season when both Stewart and Deangelo went downGreen Bay had high hopes for Wynn and Jackson at one time...Having said all that, we'll have to see where he ends up. Heard Denver, but I'm not sure he's any better than Lance Ball or Jeremiah Johnson (latter they just cut). either way, his ability to play both FB and RB should help get him a job. Imagine he can play ST's too...

Really? Because he was on the field for special teams in weeks 13-17, and got some mop up duty for Goodson in those games. Time for some people to just face it. He's not good.

that's after Stewart made it back, right? At that point, Goodson was also playing well in the COP role. Before Tyrell got injured, he was actually listed ahead of Goodson on the depth chart and entered into the line-up week 9 when Stewart went down rushing 7 41, but then he sprained his ankle

I've always liked him. Had him on and off various dyno rosters throughout the years. Sadly I think this might be the end. We'll see.

Last update I saw on twitter from him in the past few days was essentially that he had not been contacted by any teams, and didn't expect to hear anything until at least after week 1, or when injuries hit.

I really hope Sutton catches on somewhere. He is a hard inside runner who could give a lot of teams a good goalline options. He's an adequate FB in a pinch as well.

I'm very surprised this guy doesn't have a job yet. The perception of many on this board is that he's better than a lot of the garbage currently on NFL rosters. I guess we just don't know as much as we think we do.

He has no practice squad eligibility. This is what is his biggest issue.

after putting Goodson on IR, the Panthers added Josh Vaughan instead of Sutton. Not looking good for his career
They have both been with the team in recent years. Sutton was a Fox guy and didn't seem to mesh with the new coaching staff. Vaughn is a better special teams player, as well.I still think he can produce if given the chance somewhere.

He's been given many chances if his 2 years of PS eligibility is used up. It's over for this guy. Head to the CFL. If you are a mediocre RB you had better be able to contribute on special teams. He can't. He's not a feature back. Thus, no job.

Your opinion would carry more weight if you actually knew anything about NFL practice squads.
