Tyvon Branch (1 Viewer)

When the Raiders-Browns game went final, ESPN had Tyvon Branch with 8 tackles (7 solos and 1 assist). Later tonight ESPN updated their boxscore to show Branch with 10 tackles (9 solos and 1 assist).

Does anyone know if the update is accurate?

My league's championship game result is in the balance. The 2 tackles would cause the team with Branch to win. If the update is not accurate the other team wins. It's that close.

Looks like it depends on whether your league includes special teams tackles in the IDP total.

According to the NFL.com gamebook stats, Branch had seven solos and an assist while playing defense and two solos on special teams.

Thanks for the clarification Jene.Assuming special teams tackles typically show up in the boxscore, we do include them. I know we don't expressly exclude them, so unless they aren't typically included in the boxscore totals, Branch should have 2 tackles added to his total tonight.NFL.com has Branch at 7-1 in their boxscore but 9-1 in his game log. ESPN has the exact opposite, 9-1 in their boxscore and 7-1 in his game log.Odd...

Last night I lost my championship 169-161. I woke up this morning and the score was tied 171-171 due to points corrections from Branch as well as others and now I might win due to tiebreakers. It's causing quite a stir right now hehe
