UFC wagering: no longer stuck with the old thread title. The window to change it is here! (4 Viewers)

- Frustrated with these stupid TV deals and there messing up our TV viewing. No reason why they couldn't have that UK-Australia TUF Smashes on Fuel TV. I don't know what the obstacle is, but it would be nice if they could fix it and let us watch it. My guess is it has something to do with TV contracts because i think ESPN covers the UFC in Europe, and F them if they do.
I stopped watching TUF once they moved from Spike, but I think they did have the UK-Australia TUF Smashes on 1stR0w online.I really only watch sports and gave up Directv because anything/everything sports related is on that site.

I've never seen Lombard before. I like him.
I could be mistaken...But I think he was a big time fighter, then got his first fight in the UFC a few months ago and sucked royally.
:yes:Rogan and Goldberg were really talking him up in his UFC debut. And then he proceeds to do nothing whatsoever in 3 rounds vs. Tim Boetsch. Maybe it was jitters, but he didn't let his hands go at all. Nice bounceback win for him. Though you can't tell, he's no spring chicken (turns 35 in less than 2 months). He's gotta get another impressive couple wins over stiffer competition to be considered for shot. I'd like to see him fight the Bisping/Belfort winner.
Anyone who calls out that ####### Bisping is OK in my book.

LOL Guillard interview after cancellation of the fight.

Awkward.

Accuses Varner of backing out. Says he won't fight him again. Interviewer says the fight's been moved to UFC 155 per Dana White. Melvin says ok

ha, yeah - I don't blame him for being pissed at Varner though. I was happy to see Jamie get that comeback win but it looks like he's back to acting like a flake again.

That right hand that Barry landed at the end would have probably killed me
yeah, those shots are no joke. Feel horrible for Del Rosario, i forget the details about the car accident he was in, but i know it wasn't his fault. wrecked his career just when he was considered one of the top prospects, and he just can't catch a break to build some momentum to move back on up

Kind of funny that a GSP guy gets beat by a guy laying (kind of) on him for 3 rounds.
:goodposting: i don't know how you can train for years with Rory Macdonald and GSPm, under Faras' camp, and then lose to a guy who trains part-time who has only one skill he is bringing into the fight.

Kick in the nads could have taken him most of the 2nd to recover. But the 3rd round wasn't much different until the final minute. Tough to say I guess.

Yeah, that was terrible by Mazzagotti. You are probably right that it did take a lot out of him in that 2nd

hated mittrione in TUF but I think I like Roy even less after this season of TUF.
I didn't see any TUF this year, but I love Roy."After I got my first KO, I was like this is way easier than that JJ stuff" :lmao:
he's good for those and the fat guy stuff. he's kind of dumb though and seemed to suck as a coach.
Roy is just an anomaly. doesn't really train with a camp or anything, strangest thing. all common sense says he should be losing most of these fights, but he doesn't. the 3 rounds with JDS was impressive

I could definitely see him sucking as a coach since he seems to be a lone wolf type of guy. He does crack me up though.

Mazzagotti was caught sleeping there. Looked like for a brief moment that he was going to stop it then Colton went at Ricci again and he backed away.Colton Smith is very strong and he did a great job of using his weight and strength to wear down Ricci. Ricci seemed much better at stand up then ground during TUF and Colton took that away from him almost immediately.I don't think Ricci has been training with MacDonald and St. Pierre for as long as they were making it out to be, maybe MacDonald but I'm pretty sure GSP hasn't been working with him all that long.Disappointed that this fight ended up being the least entertaining out of the entire card. While I'm glad Colton won I thought Ricci would bring more to the table.

Great card overall, and great fights. It's nice to see so many finishes.

I'm really glad to see that it looks like they are putting the little dudes on the Facebook prelims instead of on the main card. The little guys were actually pretty good yesterday, but I'd MUCH rather watch 170 lbs. and up then watch the 125 lb. guys.

Gonna be odd for Melvin if Varner knocks him out in a couple weeks. Varner is a #####, but I don't think anyone has ever thought of his as being scared of other fighters. Guy always has always battled and been an entertaining fighter. Didn't he break his hand and foot in that fight against Cowboy Cerrone and still keep going?

I'm not saying he'd have won, or if it's even true, but if Diaz was seeing blurry essentially the entire fight like he says he really had no chance. His striking was horrible...alot of props to Henderson on that, but I think Diaz was certainly effected standing up.
yeah, i think Nate deserves a little props for this. You can see in Dana's vlog here how he tells his corner how he couldn't see for most of the fight, and how he wanted to make sure he didn't say anything about it on the camera. Good for him, though it was always a good laugh when somebody like Tito would get on the mic as soon as a fight was done and complain about somethingETA: here is a link: http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2012/12/28/3810878/ufc-155-dana-white-video-blog-part-2

Meant to mention this months ago when I first saw it, but Fightville is a really good documentary about the Louisiana MMA scene. They followed Dustin Poirier before he made it to the UFC - good stuff.

I am tempted to take Garcia as well with the odds he is at now (over +320). Jury is ballsy too, i like both guys and this should be a fun fight. Johnson has looked real good too, iu wanted to take him but i don't think i can pull the trigger with his current odds. My biggest plays are Belcher, Leben, Wineland (though that fight will be a ton of fun too). i also got Boetsch over Phillipou,
