he looked good at times in Strikeforce, but he certainly won't be long in the UFC if he doesn't turn that around

Agreed GOAT until tonight. His taunting cost him a title fight, and the fans a fight that they paid for. Totally and completely unforgivable to be that careless/cocky in a fight this big. Glad he got his #### handed to him in embarrassing fashion.

Silva lost virtually on purpose, could hear it in his speech...he was tired of fighting, tired of the grind, tired of the critics. He figured he would go out in a blaze of glory, clowning like never before and taking chances he never took before

This doesn't at all affect his status as GOAT. He's 38. He lost to a really good guy. And he's been careless/cocky in fights this big before. That's his schtick.

Great fighters end up looking bad at the end of their careers all the time. It happens. Doesn't change anything about Silva's long, long reign of dominance.
