Ultimate College Basketball - Some things you just can't buy (1 Viewer)

Loved this freaking game! Will pay big time for it.
I'm with you on this one.....I owned this game as a teenager.....had the '87-'88 season but as a collegian I foolishly sold the game in a yard sale. As a result now as an adult, I want the game back. Unfortunately it is so rare, it appears on Ebay probably once a year. So this is what i've done to get this game "off the ground" as I put it. On Tabletopsports.com, there are 20 teams from the '83-'84 season and 10 more "all-time" teams available for download. I have already downloaded them and made "homegrown" cards (cut and paste the printouts onto blank index cards and cut them accordingly). Now I have 30 teams. Also available for download are the set-up cards and the rebound cards. Did the same thing to these as I did for the team cards. Then I joined a website called Boardgamegeek.com.......I discovered seven members that owned the game (none of which would like to sell it.....do you blame them? lololol) but what one member did for me was they emailed me the basic rules AND the reference charts from the actual game. I went to staples and had it printed out on 11 X 17 card stock.....and now I have the basic rules and the necessary reference charts. In addition, there are two members who are in the process of sending me more teams PDF style so I can "homegrown" some more squads. The advanced rules and scoresheets are also available for download on Tabletop......i've taken advantage of that as well. All I need now is an actual board.....what I have discovered is that I can take a photo of the board and get it printed out at staples. I think i'm going to glue it to a board game board that I no longer use (Monopoly maybe) and voila!!! I'll be in action lolololol. If you are interested, I would be willing to email you the basic rules and the chart that was sent to me and maybe you could go the same route I took to get the game going with very little monetary investment.....just time invested. My email address is kudstep40@yahoo.com if you are interested. Happy gaming! Steve.
