Anyone else dig these guys? I'm watching them on mugs.net Live Stash right now and every time I listen to them I tell myself I need to have them more in my rotation. I saw them live last year and the show was great, they have a ton of excellent songs and really have some great jams. One of the most interesting jam bands out there IMO.

Yeah, I'm not very knowledgeable about the tunes, but I enjoy it when I hear them.

Big UM fan. I see them live every chance I can. I like their extra heaviness compared to most jam bands and they are always super tight. Highly recommended.

loving the mashup costumes/characters...  Run DMCC Deville... Hasidic Jewlia Roberts... Deevo Snyder... Slaxl Rose... Weird Al Pacino... :lmao: :lmao:

Good live band, saw them a ton in the early 2000's,  I thought they would be the next big jam band a la phish etc but they never really took off like I thought they would.  They are tight live but a lot of their stuff all kind of gets jumbled and sounds the same and this might be a part of the problem.

Def should get them out if they come to your town.

First heard UM back in San Diego in 2004 while driving a rental car that had Jam On Sirius radio. Have loved them ever since. Seen them live many times.

My wife describes listening to UM as musical masturbation.

Hi I'm new here. Just bought tickets for my first show, going with @Guster.  Admittedly don't know a lot about these guys. Please direct a noob to some required listening.

Easily my favorite band since 2000.  Seen them too many times to count.   Been to Amsterdam and JamCruise I to see them specifically, as well as High Sierra Music Festival 4 years in a row.

The new album is outstanding, it's called "it's not us" and so far I can't turn it off. From this album check out:

You and You Alone, Remind Me, and Half Delayed.

The album with all the mashups is basically their traditional Halloween stuff they pull off every year.  Fun album, but not my favorite.

Album wise check out: "it's not us", "Death by Stereo", "Safety in Numbers", and "The London Sessions: A Day at Abbey Road Studios". For the old school stuff: "Anchor Drops" and "Local Band does OK". Everything live is outstanding as well.

Dig in with the headphones and enjoy the rock show.

Jan 12.  It was pretty good.  Was hoping to see a mashup but not luck.

Interesting crowd.
It looks like you got a hot one!  If I was there I would have been very happy with this setlist.  Anything stand out?  They really don't do the mashups unless it's Halloween.  UM with horns is usually great.

Standout for me was the Allman Bros cover.  Bringing out the horns was cool, too.

There were some songs I really liked, but have no idea which ones.  Are there any sites that stream previous shows for free?

Looks like a lot of their shows are on Relisten app, but I don't see anything from 2018 yet.

there are roughly 2500+ shows on here, all available for streaming, but nothing yet from 2018.  I know you could probably purchase the show you went to, and others, with superior sound quality via soundboard/audience matrix.  They used to do this cool thing where when you went to a show you could sign up to get the live copy of what you just heard at the merch table after the show.  I think they still rent out headphones as well for a direct link to the soundboard as the band is playing.  Pretty cool stuff.
