I don't think he can come back 12.2.4.2.3 exception says he would have to have withdrawn within 72 hours following the NFL draft declaration date. I believe that date was early February.

I think he can petition the NCAA for reinstatement provided he hasnt hired an agent or taken any money. It may be too late though.

WHy the return? Maybe he realized he wasnt the same ranked back he was after his sophmore year? A stellar Senior year could vault him up the boards again....

His stock was as high as it will ever get... after his SOPHOMORE year. Down Junior year dropped his stock and well, Devine is better than him so I don't see what he's going to do senior year to impress.

I'm sorry, what is this thread about again? It's hard for me to read it as my lunch was disgorged onto my monitor screen.Looks like someone may not have done their homework when giving Slaton advice to enter the draft. I feel sorry for the guy because he's a good rb. There are just too many more good/better rb's in the draft this year.

Overrated from the start...not sure where he was getting his advice from by coming out in a RB-heavy draft...oops.

Noel Devine may have had something to do with that.
yeah...good point, but still another year of even splitting carries would probably help him...which is what he's just now figuring out.

That's one fiance who is refusing to adopt her husband's marriage!

Slaton can not return. Once he entered his name and didn't withdraw it by the cutoff date he can't come back. He has already signed with an agent as well. I don't believe there is any way he could come back even if he wanted to.

I think if the fiancee is named Sara Wooden she should just hyphenate.
