Ream on bench again. It appears like he's truly lost the starting role.

Silva said he has a calf injury and he didn’t expect him back until after Christmas. I’m actually surprised he’s even on the bench.
Missed that. And you are correct he's not even on bench. He has been the last few games and now he's not so I'm hoping he was just nursing that injury.

I watched several of their matches - I forget the name but one of the two CBs playing and I think filling in for Ream was bad. I think his spot is still somewhat safe.

Wasnt ream just the captain for fulham before this? I'd find it odd to go from that to losing your spot... But I guess that's the biz. Happier to hear he's just hurt... I guess

Tilman with the start up front in front of Dest on the left.
And Djorgee started opposite for AZ!... And the got mass subbed out at the half losing 0-3.

Tilman with a gorgeous ball through to Dest after a nice turn at MF... Dests first goal for psv who are cruising 4-0
here is the Tillman to Dest goal.

Pepi subbed in with 20+ left.

had a beautiful turn and shot that he unfortunately hit right at the GK- who didn't know much about it, but got a mitt to. otherwise- his touch was poor... received the ball in some great spots but had a lot of zardozes clanging out on the first touch.

PSV is so fun to watch- they just flow straight up the field. so many 1 touch passes into great spots showing a great understanding of eachother and the shape/space they're supposed to opperate in. Dest was bombing forward until the 90th minute... maybe not the best plan trying to maintain the shutout, but makes for fun watching.

As of today, Pulisic has already played more league minutes than he did the entire season last year for Chelsea.

Pulisic's most league minutes in his career was back in 2017/2018 at 2302 (and this is BY FAR the most minute as his second most drops all the way down to 1738).

Pulisic is easily on pace to beat the second most minutes ever (no whammy's!!)

PSV sporting director Earnie Stewart says that PSV are expected to exercise their buy options on USMNT teammates Sergino Dest and Malik Tillman at the end of the season, per @RikElfrink
Not surprising at all given how they're playing. Good for them. Seems to be a great spot for those two to get some quality minutes plus some solid European football games.

if not for De Jong killing it up front, Pepi would be doing the same. it's been pretty great landing spot for these guys... and doing it on one of the top teams in europe right now.

can't really complain about Juve or Milan either, tbh.

Yeah. I am a little worried about Milan right now. There seems to be some chatter about Pioli being on the hot seat. He obviously is a big Pulisic fan. A new coach might have a different opinion. We saw what happened when Lampard got replaced with Tuchel in Chelsea.

CP has been on of their best players... it would be a bit shocking if a new coach ditched him. I feel like CP was injured during the many CHelsea coaching changes, which never helped.

Not a huge surprise, but Neymar is out of Copa America as it is not expected he will have recovered enough from the knee injury by next summer.

What Nats are going to get new homes this winter?

Two to keep an eye on are Miles Robinson (who is looking for a Zimm like deal in MLS and may not get it and may then get himself to Europe), and Gio Reyna who is too talented a player to be a late second half sub most games, a role he is very UN-Pepi like in. His value has obviously plummeted so I have no idea what Dortmund would want for him.

Gio is likely on the move. He changed agents a week or two ago.

What do you think his value is right now? Two years ago they were looking for a Pulisic to Chelsea type deal... $60-70M. I think it wouldn't surprise me to see him move for less than $20M right now.

17 year old Diego Kochen got his first minutes with the senior Barca side today in a friendly against Club America here in the US.

Came into the game in the 62 minute at 2-2 and gave up a goal late, header off a corner. No idea how he played.

It's obviously been crushed. My assumption is Dortmund won't sell right away and will loan him because of that.

But I think he only has 18 months left on his contract so they pretty much have to sell him this summer. Maybe they put a big sell on.

I’d take a gamble on Reyna on a loan-to-buy option at Newcastle. He’d have to show he won’t dog it to stay there permanently, but he can play in places Newcastle needs strengthening. If he dedicates himself, Howe will get the best out of him. If he doesn’t, he’s gone.

If he dedicates himself, Howe will get the best out of him. If he doesn’t, he’s gone.
I think that's the key. He will need a location where he is challenged but turns that challenge into dedication and commitment. There are some managers that won't have the patience to get that going. There are some clubs that won't have the team work culture to get the commitment. I truly hope his potential isn't wasted in their crucial next 3 years.

Considering how much Pioli has favored Pulisic and Musah (with good cause to be fair), this may not be good

Proprietà del Milan furiosa per il 2-2 contro la Salernitana e per l’ennesimo infortunio. Ore cruciali, Pioli sempre più in bilico. Tutto su
@cmdotcom

Translated from Italian
AC Milan owners furious about the 2-2 draw against Salernitana and yet another injury. Crucial hours, Pioli increasingly in the balance.

Venezia with a 2-2 draw today.

Tessman with a goal and assist in game. Busio did not play in this game (don't know why).

Venezia is still in second but their once large lead on 3rd has quickly evaporated as they have 2 losses and this draw in their last 3 games.

Forest made a bunch of changes, but Turner stayed in goal today. 1-1 so far, goal against Turner was PK. I read he made a big save in first half.

Speaking of hung out to dry... Every time I look, Slonina is having 2-5 goals go by him. I know that team is relegation fodder, but hope he's able to keep his confidence and keep working/concentrating on all the good work to keep improving himself.
