Value of rookie 1.1 went up yesterday! (1 Viewer)

I traded for the rookie 1.1 a couple weeks ago in order to land McFadden. Many people were saying that the place to be was the #2 or #3 spots in order to land Stewart or Mendenhall (or McFadden if you ranked him lower). So the value of the 1.1 was relatively low, because many owners would have been just as happy to draft anywhere in 1-3.

I think that changed yesterday. McFadden is a solid #1 pick now. I can't see anyone toying with picking Stewart or Mendenhall first now (but I'm sure I'll hear from those who will). So I think the value of the 1.1 just went up. The cost to obtain the 1.1 just got steeper, IMO.

It would be interesting to do a comparison of what people gave up to land the 1.1 before the draft and what they give up over the next couple weeks.

In my 40 man roster, IDP, PPR, start 2 QB league, I gave up:

G. Jennings, S. Young, T. Polamalu, 1.6, 2.6, 4.11, 2009 3rd

for K. Smith, L. Booker, 1.1, 1.11, 3.4, 3.11, 2009 2nd

 Going into the draft I thought Stewart was the best prospect. And with what Carolina did it makes me feel more comfortable. Stewart will be the workhorse, Williams will retain his change of pace status.

I think if I had the #1 pick I would go McFadden however I think Stewart is very close behind.
I had DMac 1.01, even if he is on the Raiders... I rather see him on the Jets, but the Raiders are a good rushing team.I used to have Mend #2, but now I would say Stewart passed himStewart - 2Mend - 31.4 - 8 are all crap shoots... Fort might even move up my board, or some rookie drafted today.I say that 1.01 value's increased over the other rookie picks... but most Rookie RB Value's dropped in Start-Ups.

The value of 1.01 didn't go up at all. Rather, the value of every other 1st rd pick fell precipitously.
