Vegas for FFPC or NFFC (1 Viewer)

remembering the early WCOFF years.....
The first real "high stakes" that I remember. Think the top prize was 100K at the beginning. Seems minuscule now.

Played 3 seasons from 2003-2005 and did pretty well. Had a scheduling conflict in 2006 and couldn't make it. Then they didn't pay their winners and folded.

I was an original player in first years of WCOFF and FFPC.

Now you are starting to confuse what I think I remember but I thought WCOFF was $200K in year one.

FFPC was for sure $75K and only had like 160'ish teams in their first Main Event. Paltry vs the $1million payout now, but sure did have a nice community feel to it.
I thought WCOFF was $200k the first year also. I remember a draft at MGM, Rio, and ?

My first pick the first year was Kevan Barlow :ROFLMAO: I remember FBGs was high on him.

We had a Riviera year. Remember Lenny got upset when I friend of mine asked on the message board if it was because the Motel 6 was full. Place was a dump at this point.

I remember my first pick(s) but can't remember which one I/we took first. Was out of 11 hole and I was doing the team with a friend of mine. He wanted Eddie George, I wanted to take a shot on Edge coming off an ACL and we each got our guy. Neither was great, but Travis Henry, HInes Ward and a late surge by Tommy Boy Maddox ended up being huge for us.

That was probably right.

I liked FFPC. Played off an on for 6 years. Live drafts are fun, especially when you have friendly, talkative guys around you. Kind of lost interest in high stakes the last 5 years or so, but was talking to my son about doing a live draft next year.
