I like the Angels at 13-1. The postseason is a crapshoot, and no team is a safer bet to get there.
They're really not a great team. No offense. If the young Texas players pull together, they could make it interesting. Oakland, too.
agreed. With Teixera leaving and Vlad aging, that offense has become fairly average pretty quickly. Plus, although K-Rod was probably slightly overrated, he did provide stability at the back. No new closer is a sure thing.

World Series odds for every team: Detroit, 26-1 Milwaukee, 30-1
I like these two here.Wasn't it just a year or so ago that Detroit was the team that couldn't lose? .300 hitters up and down the lineup, very good, young, starting pitching, a potential dominant bullpen (Todd Jones excluded). Seems the mighty have fallen too far. Milwaukee is another interesting team to me. Good, young offense, and of course the big question is pitching. Sheets coming back? Bullpen?

Good point with Detroit. Betting odds (and fantasy projections) have a tendency to focus more on what happened last year than on longer term trends. This may overvalue teams which are more likely to regress to the mean, while underestimating bounce back candidates.

Cubs :goodposting:
Big ####### Black Dot(just in case hell does freeze over)
This is the year huh?
sure why not? It's really their division to lose(but they could find a way), they just need to produce in the playoffs......hopping the addition of Bradley will help balance out the lineup. And as everyone knows, anything can happen once the playoffs start.

If I were a betting man Id throw some money on Cleveland. IMO theyre the best team in the AL Central by far and are my pick to play CHI in the WS.

Sonny:

Just don't see it with the Giants AT ALL

I know some peeps are high on them b/c they brought in Renteria and Randy Johnson, but have you looked at that lineup?

ZERO power

Likely the worst OF in baseball

Bengie Molina hitting cleanup

anything is possible I suppose, but that just seems like a waste of $$

I know it's 50-1, but still

Yeah you're right, I'm out. :lmao:

I like total (over/under) wins way more anyway. This was just something I thought a local might have the lines wrong on (not adjusted to recent signings, injuries and such).

Total wins MUCH better IMO

Unless you want to throw $100 on your team (the Doyers for you) just in case they win so you have a little extra something to celebrate with I hate the WS/Super Bowl futures
