I picked apogee for apex because to me they both imply that any further motion will be on a downward trend. Peak and pinnacle both imply that the limit has been reached and no further motion will occur. So its like a line versus a bell curve. Or at least, that's why I answered as I did. I could be wrong, but Chet won't give the answers.
