Now that VD is back, what should we expect of him? Is VD worth picking up? He talked a big game in the pre-season and didn't do diddly poop before becoming injured, will that change? Is his value more or less with Dilfer in instead of Smith?

I picked him up last week due to Winslows bye week. That worked like a kick in the groin, I've already cut him.

I'd say he's definitely worth having on just about any roster. He's one of the most physically talented guys in the league and at some point will start putting it together. He's certainly disappointing, but I'd grab add him for depth if he's there.J

Oh come on. He's a physical specimen and would look great as Boombata 2 in an upcoming Conan movie. But he's way too fragile. Heck Eric Johnson outdid anything VD has done. This is what Ken Caminiti said happens with steroids. They grow the muscles too strong without a correspondent strengthening of the surround tissue. Injuries occur because of this.

Where do you draw the line for muscular guys then? Sorry but I don't think I can buy into that one.I love Davis and while he's been a big disappointment thus far, I'd easily add him for depth. Just my .02J

I drafted Davis this year and have kept him on my roster during his injury. I hope to get a few good games out of him. I picked him up last year when he was injured and he did well in the playoffs. :excited:

A literary reference to friggin' Boombata? :excited: "I will protect them both."

I'm going to refer to him as "Boombata II" from now on.

Methinkst VD is at least 19k, or so, behind in the conquest department to Boombata v.1.0.....but he DOES have the right initials to make a great run at that record.

I'm dropping him so he'll be a waiver wire addition for somebody else. Just another bust. With SF QB situtation being what it is I don't see him getting anymore than he has gotten already.

He and Dilfer did just miss on a long could-have-been TD play. The pass wasn't perfect, but it still should have been caught.

Had that play connected everyone would be all over Davis. I probably won't do anything this week, but with Cooley being asked to turn into an OT, I'm looking for Davis to possibly take over my starting TE spot in the coming weeks.

isnt his career high like 4 receptions in his two seasons...Him and Marcedes Lewis (another TE taken in round 1 last year) have been very disappointing
