Very Early Top 10 (1 Viewer)

There's been exactly 10 fantasy players drafted so far, if you count Travis Hunter - which you probably should.

This rookie draft will probably be all over the place after the 1.03. I feel like 1.04 could be a lot of different guys. If you wanted to, you could make a case for any one of Tet, Loveland, Hunter, or Dart in SF. I don't even want to talk about whichever RBs Dallas, or Cleveland, or Denver picks.

Given the little information we have so far I'm not far off where I was predraft

Jeanty
Hampton
Henderson
Judkins
Egbuka
Skattebo (very likely to move down with draft info)
K Johnson (very likely to move down with draft info)
Burden
Hunter
Ward
Tet

This thread was specifically asking about the 10 drafted so far.

I would say:
Jeanty
Hampton
McMillan
I guess Hunter?
Egbuka
Golden
Ward
Dart
Warren
Loveland
(Our league doesn't require a TE.)

Poop sorry, poor reading skills trying to leave work early on a Friday haha.

Only on those drafted:

Jeanty
Hampton
Egbuka
Ward
Hunter
Loveland
Tet
Dart
Warren
Golden

We've had a top 5 and a top 10... I will raise you one more, a top 15! With clear RB needs. Absolutely no coincidence that my picks end at the 2.3 of a 1QB:

1. Jeanty
2. Hampton
3. Hunter
4. Henderson
5 . Judkins
6. Tet
7. Kaleb Johnson
8. Burden
9. Egbuka
10. Skattebo
11. Loveland
12. Warren
13. Golden
14. Harvey
15. Neal

16. Sampson -- because it didn't feel right leaving him off. Why do I want to put a 1st round WR in this spot and leave him off?

PPR, no SF, no TE Premium

1. Jeanty
2. Hampton
3. Hunter
4. McMillan
5. Egbuka
6. Loveland #5 in TEP)
7. Golden
8. Warren (#6 in TEP)
9. Ward (#3 in SF)
10. Dart (I do not play SF, but I would be hard-pressed to move him up even in SF)

now what?
My personal ranking looks different than this but here’s what I sense the early consensus top 10 will look like in 1QB

1. Ashton Jeanty
2. Omarion Hampton
3. Tetairoa McMillan
4. Travis Hunter
5. Quinshon Judkins
6. TreVeyon Henderson
7. Colston Loveland
8. Tyler Warren
9. Kaleb Johnson
10. Matthew Golden

Kaleb has to be higher... I'd even say #5.
His lack of action in the passing game (and Warren being so good in that role) are what caps his ceiling for sure.

I disagree about him in the passing game. Did he do it a lot at Iowa? Not really. What I did see watching film on him is he's not awkward catching the ball. Looks pretty natural; not fighting the ball. Warren had less than 40 receptions last year. 2023 was an outlier so far.

Warren has hurt most of the year, he's a better receiving back by a mile.

He missed 2 games last year.

Regardless, not saying he's not the better receiver, he is. I'm saying the Johnson is getting knocked in the passing game like he's incapable, I disagree.

Tet ahead of Travis making my eyes bleed (esp NOW that Jax confirmed he's a wr)...
Skepticism seems reasonable here imo. I wouldn’t argue much either way, but I do think Hunter goes 2 in most leagues.
Doubt he goes 2 in any my leagues except maybe the 2 that are full IDP leagues
Both of my leagues are IDP, one values WR enough that I think I’m looking at Hampton with the 4. Which I’m quite okay with although either he or Bucky will ride the bench (Or be traded).

Iowa's passing game has been horrible. Nepo boy was the OC Kaleb's first two years. Last year Kaleb caught a higher % of his team's receptions than Gibbs did for Detroit and Brown for Cincy.

Hopefully we have a lot of people who think different after Jeanty goes #1. I can't stand when all my rookie drafts are exactly the same top 6 picks. Mix it up and everyone think on your own.

I think the top 7 are for the most part locked in but I could see different orders of those 7 in a lot of leagues
