I honestly never cared for Eastbound and Down and didn’t love this show early in its run, but it really hit a stride for me halfway through season one and ended up really enjoying it.  A tight two season run is probably for the best, but dammit I would love to see some more Gamby and Lee on my screen.

Rewatched the Abbott/Snodgrass fight. I love the backwards elbow to the face by Snodgrass as she is getting a swirly, followed by the sign to Abbott's head. I loved when Snodgrass picked up the sign she twirled it in her hands like she had used to before. Awesome.

that was so much better than I was expecting, I honestly wasn't sure how they were going to handle it. being it was a school I figured they wouldn't wanna go down the road of Lee shooting up the school or blowing it up.   They figured something out that was so perfect imo, that tiger going right after that trainer was classic and the cat fight in the bathroom was also lol. To get that all in in 30 mins was impressive

I think most will agree that season two was better across the board. They really hit their stride somewhere late in the first season and it carried over through the remainder of the series. I’m pretty sure they filmed everything at once though, so that makes sense.
