News: Eagles coach Andy Reid told reporters on Monday morning that MRI scans revealed that QB Michael Vick suffered a contusion and not a break, as had been initially feared. A report from radio station 94 WIP in Philadelphia suggested on Monday morning that Vick could miss 3-4 weeks with what was then believed to be a broken hand. Reid indicated that a blood vessel over the bone initially made it appear to be a fracture in his hand. Further tests showed that it was instead a contusion.

Much better news. He should be able to play with just a bruised hand, unless it is swollen so bad that he can't grip the ball. Maybe he just misses one more week?

Probably a matter of how much pain he can endure taking snaps, although putting him in the shotgun would help

Almost more concerned with his concussion and how much he is getting hit. That line isn't really protecting him.
