Vick pleads not guilty (1 Viewer)

Trial date set for November 26.

I would have felt better for Vick's chances had he copped a plea. Billy Martin likes to have his cases heard. He may not have been the best choice of attorney, but it should make for good theatre.

There's speculation that one of his co-defendant's (Peace) is offering to testify against Mike for a deal.

I hope he wins his case. I think a human being doing any amount of time in prison over the death of some animals is pretty stupid. If he is found guilty and serves time in prison I think he's more than paid for it.

Much like cows, termites, or poisonous frogs-dogs aren't people!

:)

Please, please, please tell me this is a horrible attempt at :)

I guess Bill thinks if you go into a zoo and mow down everything in sight with a machine gun, the worst you should get is a fine unless you hit a person.

Among the conditions set for all the defendants is that they surrender their passports, that they not travel outside their immediate area without court approval and that they do not sell or possess any dog. In addition, Vick was ordered to surrender any animal breeder or kennel license.

does that mean he could not play in away games?

i mean, if by some stretch they let him play at all...

Killing animals... not so bad.Causing them extreme pain and suffering before killing them and in the process of killing them... different story.

Link? Everything points to pure speculation. One of them (Peace) has apparently been out of the picture for a year or more and he's feeling betrayed and willing to betray.

For any travel, for any reason, eg: family funeral in another state, he would have to seek the Court's permission.

They let Tank head to Miami for the Super Bowl.

So forget the inhumane treatment of the dogs, the sadistic torture of them, the way Vick & his co-defendant's relished the mistreatment of animals, and the fact that it's a basic symptom of sociopathic behavior and when these types of people tire of tormenting animals they turn on humans as their prey... forget all of that...Do you think he should go to prison for sponsoring an illegal across-state-line gambling operation?

He should go to prison for whatever he is found guilty of that has a minimum including time, and the judge needs to use his own good discretion with the sentencing guidelines.

Should they have sent Al Capone to prison for tax evasion? You take what you can get.

You do realize that a lot of mass murderers get their start killing animals, right? Now, I'm not saying Michael Vick is gonna turn into a mass murderer, but if we're all not careful Michael Vick just might turn into a mass murderer.

Mike Vick and his sweet little brother Marcus are just simply missunderstood. Aside from torturing and killing animals, particpating in illegal gaming, traveling with drug-laced secret compartments in water bottles, flipping off fans, kicking and stomping on linemen, providing alchohol and marijuana to underage girls, reckless driving, pointing guns at 17-year old kids, and boinking 15-year old girls (in Marcus' case when he was 20) the Vick boys are models of decorum. Shame on the NFL and Roger Goodell for keeping Mike out of camp.

If killing animals is OK, you guys just set the stage for the prosecutor in this case to seek the electric chair for Vick.

I think Vick took the heat for his buddy Ron on that one. Through a freak of nature they have the same tainted DNA.
