Played several games of Fortnite last night. I think I played about 8 games and managed two kilsl Both were short range with shotguns. For those who said the controls and gameplays are great, I definitely disagree. Though I will say a lot of the frustration is going from what I usually do in FPS and playing third person. I do not like the controls, and I'm not used to it. I had one exchange where I came upon two people fighting each other. I pulled out my sniper and tried to pick them off. I couldn't hit anything. Once one of them killed the other, he fortified himself. I shot the walls down, but couldn't hit him. He built his wall again, and as I was in the process of shooting it down again (feeling a bit like the big bad wolf) he jumped out the side and insta killed me.

It's fine for taking a break when I get frustrated with something else, but it does not have me hooked.
My best game placement was when I landed on the board in an area of the map not many others landed in, and happened to be the center of the storm so I just camped in a house until near the end. It was down to the top 20 or so, and then someone stumbled upon me and killed me even though I was camping, shotgun pointed at the door waiting for someone to come in.
