Vikings at Bears (1 Viewer)

Yeah, don't give it to Peterson there. Smart move by Frazier. "We know that they know that we're probably going to give it to ADP. But they don't know that we know that they know what we're doing."
Right. They keep going play action on first down too. Its not a surprise if you do it every series. Then when its invariably 2nd and 10, they run it when everybody DEFINITELY knows they will run. And they get 8 yards. Shows what being clever will get you when punching the other guy in the teeth is working.

Someone help me with the math on that 4th down play. Don't you kick the FG? 10-28 = 13-28 which = 2TD + 2Pt?
I haven't seen anything from Frazier that suggests that he's a benefit to the team. He's quiet and doesn't make waves and that's about the only reason he isn't feeling the heat at this point.

Points don't come in a straight line...like pizza.
Obviously best case scenario for Vikes. But pretty sure FG was the correct play on that 4th down.
Well, I get the argument that you go for it if youre going to get that first down, put the ball in the hands of your best player to get you two yards. Putting the ball in the hands of Christian Ponder to try to score? Definitely not the smart move.

Peterson finishing that run like Payton used to do. Impressive.
Unfortunately he's my favorite player to watch. Guy plays hard.
He's amazing every time he touches the ball. Best of this era.
I think Trent Richardson is a similar talent
He has a better reputation as a receiver which will help him stay on the field more than ADP has.Personally, I think the concern over ADP's hands have been badly overstated.

Are we absolutely sure Mike Tice isn't calling plays for the Vikings? Pass on first down, run on second down, pass on third down, punt? Vintage Tice.

I try not to follow him publicly, cuz my dOOsh brother is a Vikings fan, but I'm pretty sure AP has put a lot of work in to become a better reciever

Is the Bears offensive line play much improved or has the Viking's defensive line simply failed?
Cutler came back. OL same as it's always been, maybe not quite as bad since losing 3 starters to benching or injury.

for those still trying to follow along, the Vikings have found their way to midfield only to have a receiver bobble the ball which ended up in the Bears hands. This has to be reviewed and will be overturned.

Vikings have to try and move the ball in bunches and likely lack the the talent to do so. While Ponder hasn't played particularly well, he's not getting any help passing outside of Rudolph and to a lesser extent the rookie J.Wright.

...and that's that. ADP can't get the yardage and turn the ball over.

Bears should just run the ball for the remainder to end the game.

I'm gonna go make some stew. Why not? I already have this apron on.
