**Vikings at Lions** (-8.5, 48.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

With Halloween fresh in my mind
I differ to The Big Kahuna himself
Frankenstein..."Lions....gooooood,Vikings...rrrrrrr"

Detroit- 37

Minny- 16

As a GB fan, it’s tough to face the reality that one of these teams will win this week. But while I don’t like either team, I’ll grudgingly be glad to see Detroit win. Love Dan Campbell. Big fan of ARSB and LaPorta. Hard to dislike Hutch.

And the Vikings? Can’t stand the team. The history. The fans. The state. Sissy boy JJ McCarthy. That stupid grille in Jefferson’s mouth. The memory of John Randle and his idiotic face paint. AP beating his son with a switch. The only thing I like? The Love Boat incident. Oh, and the two consecutive years when they failed to get their 1st round pick card in on time.

Go Lions!

Just a a solid rant fueled by personal feelings and emotions. The state? Ha ha

I lived there for 4 years. That was 3.5 years too many.

John Randle face paint=idiotic
Aidan Hutchinson face paint=hard to dislike

No judgement, just find that interesting. I like(d) both guys as a Bears fan.

I think Minnesota puts up a good fight but ultimately comes up short. I think JJ McCarthy surprises people and both Jefferson and Addison have good games. I also think McCarthy will be sacked multiple times. I don't see the run game doing much this week, though I expect the Vikings to try and establish it early.

For the Lions, people braver than I can start Williams. To me, he's a TD or bust WR3, and bust is always more likely. He also likely sees the most of Isaiah Rodgers who has been the Vikings top CB this season. The Vikings like to use S Josh Metellus in the slot, and while that certainly works in the run game and for Flores exotic blitzes, it can really backfire against good slot WRs, and Detroit has the best one. I think the Vikings mostly play tough defense, but eventually wear down, and that's where Gibbs hits a big play dagger.

Lions-27
Vikings-20

Draftkings line moved from -8.5 to -9.5 this morning. Money line has gone from -500 to -535. The Lions should win easy, but there is a chance of a look ahead to next week when they go on the road to face the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year. I know Dan Campbell does everything to get them stay focused on the current team, still it does need to be mentioned as at least a slight possibility. I'm not betting the game either way, just hoping for a Lion win and good health coming out of it.

Lions are a great team, and healthy this year. One of the best offensive lines in football. On of the best offenses period.

Minnesota used to be the #1 ranked pass defense but has been roasted lately.

JJ McCarthy is starting his what? 3rd career game? On the road against a divisional opponent.

No way the Lions lose to such an inferior team.
St Brown is a top 5 fantasy player this week.

Maybe a lot of sacks and a defensive score for the Lions in this route.

Lions 38
Vikings 17

Okay tough guy.

It can hit the ground if he has possession before and maintains through contact with the ground. Call it a pick.
Yeah, weird play- Addison’s hand underneath stabilized the ball. I don’t know that Arnold ever actually had control, but I also couldn’t tell if the ball actually hit the ground, either.

Once they called it an INT, you can’t overturn it. And it was probably the right call.

Way too many missed assignments by the Lions on both sides of the ball.
In addition to the above, too many penalties. They are too predictable on offense. They need to get Jamo some touches, some slants, crossers, etc.

It's one of the worst halves the Lions have played all year.
