Vikings at Redskins (1 Viewer)

Does it get any better than this? ADP has already gone off and the Vikes have the ball in the Red Zone.

Have to settle for the FG but a solid start for the Vikes offense.

SKOL

:horns:

...and on the first play for the Skins, 46 year old A.Winfield stuffs Morris the backfield.

Followed up by another stuff of the run by Jared Allen.

Skins have to punt.

Redskins' bend-don't-break defense has led to two FGs. That's fine as long as they can score some points.

Vikes work it down the field again but have to settle for another FG.

Percy had a nice catch to across the middle. If the Skins defense keeps playing this way it's just a matter of when - not if - before the Vikings reach the endzone.

Skins had the ball 3rd and 3 before RG3 throws a short pass that is intercepted by 53 year old Vikes CB Winfield.

Ball in Skins territory again.

:horns:

Redskins should run the read option a lot more. So far this season, it's the main thing that makes their offense move.

Skins convert a 4th and 3 from the Vikes 40. Little pass to S.Moss.

Griffin follows that up with a run from the option which is called back by a hold.

Skins get caught cheating with offensive pass interference and forced back behind their own 10. Jared Allen gets the first of what will likely be many hits on RG3.

Oof. Ponder gets the ball knocked out of his hand and the Skins recover the ball inside the Vikings 10.

RG3 with a quick pass to the FB for a TD. Harrison Smith blew the coverage so the FB had no trouble.

Let's chalk that up to a good defensive play. Ponder thought he had protection from behind but the Skins just made a good play.

Two minute warning with the Skins up 17 to 9.

In more encouraging news, I still have a few Bells Best Brown Ales in the fridge and my Short-rib Beef Stew with Ale has been simmering for 2 hours now. Should be ready in another hour.

Thanks for asking.

One thing is for sure.. Next season, short of Harvin and maybe Simpson, all the rest of the Wr's need to be released.. Complete waste of Money being spent and players that are basically just bodies out there pretending to be WR's.

I've watched every minute of every game for the Vikings this season (and probably the past 10 seasons as well) and I don't think I can name all the WRs on the squad. So, yeah. You're right.

Not excited seeing Harvin on the sideline rolling that ball around behind his left knee. It's better than him being out, but it's still concerning.

RG3 follows up two runs for good yardage with another run up the middle for a 10 yard rushing TD.

He looks completely comfortable out there getting no pressure and time to make decisions.
