Vikings-Jets thread (1 Viewer)

Another reason why we should limit membership on the boards, too many tools to make this place worth much.
Without LHUCKS and his Pac-10  what would guys have to do between the Super Bowl and Combine? You might not have caught that intended meaning though....since they merged those threads.

Wow is all I can say about that AP run. :)
How good was that? He is blowing Chester off the map, and I liked Chester. AD could be moving into third round territory. He has a spotty schedule, but finishes strong.
You might not be able to, or even want to, grab him, but you can certainly take advantage of the fact that lots of people are going to start reconsidering RB RB by thinking they'll pick him in the third.

Why was Leber playing the Nickle at the end of the half? Did Greenway get his bell rung? He was in for the extra point - weird.

He didn't do that great last week.

He'll need to do well week in week out to take Chester's job.

Soon enough, I'm sure, but .....felt like this thread needed some reality thrown in

any Troy Williamson sightings?
He was seen looking on as AD ran over the entire Jets defense.
From what I have read and seen Williamson is a pretty decent blocker.AD makes this matter.
Bobby Wade also had a good block on Peterson's long run. Good sign.I think Williamson was only targeted twice (both deep balls - one was way overthrown, the other he was behind the corner but the safety had plenty of time to come over and knock it down before it got there).

I noticed 2 targets to Williamson. He looked to be behind the CB on a deep fly pattern, but Bollinger didn't look off the safety at all and he cam over to break up the pass. The other target looked like just an awful throw or a miscommunication between him and Bollinger. Troy turned in and either the pass was 5 yards behind him or Bollinger had a different read. Looked like Troy had the right read as the CB nearly picked the pass that was behind him.

Peterson is just too talented to leave on the bench. He is something the Vikings desperately need...a game changing playmaker. You could see the difference in the 2 RBs last night. Taylor will still play, but I personally don't think he will play more than AP.I think the reality set in last night.
