Yes.  Better than chewing on the clock midway through the 3rd quarter with run, run, pass.  This team is going no where in the playoffs (if they make it) with this conservative mindset.  It just doesn't work in the NFL anymore.

I actually "like" Zimmer, just don't like his style/philosophy in today's NFL.

In what way is an aggressive mind-set better than a conservative one in today's NFL?  I think it will allow you to win big games.  Some of you are ok with one and done in the playoffs.  Good for you, I guess.

I understand football strategy a bit. When you're up by 20 against a team with a UDFA rookie quarterback, you don't play "aggressively" at that point.

That's the point.  When will Zimmer play aggressively?  He won't.  It's not in his DNA.  And the Vikings will never go any further than the first round of the playoffs with him.

And they won the game.  If they were up by 10 and lost it would be different. 

The too conservative argument works a lot better in bigger games vs better opponents.
