Vince Young (1 Viewer)

Starting VY over anyone is a tough call. He'll never put up huge passing numbers but does have the potential to take off with his legs and is a threat to score when the Titans get down close both running and passing the ball.
:hey:

It seems someone is discouraging him from running, as he's passing up obvious chances in favor of looking for a receiver. Chow needs to let Vince be be a little more "Vince".
Wow...I say it here, it comes out there.

"Yet he still did enough to win the game."

The guy is the epitome of overrated.
He threw very few passes. I was there. If you didn't watch it, all you see is a number. He had a 46 yarder taken away by a bogus offensive pass interference call. Ben Troupe lost a wide open, all alone fade in the end zone in the sun. Then, on back to back plays, VY throws what would be 2 sure TD passes that hit their target in the chest but both were dropped.

He didn't have that bad of a day -- Titans just didn't need him throwing.
Are you a Titans fan? If so, I feel sorry for you. Vince Young is a slightly better Kordell Stewart, and he's so overrated you're going to see him there for the next 10 years. Hang in there...
Yeah, 'cause it sucks being 5-2.
That will work in the playoffs.
At least they'll be in the playoffs, probably make it as far as Pittsburgh this year.

Their only two losses were in the game that VY got hurt in and v. Indy where B Jones dropped the pass that would have put them in FG position to win the game....

Vince Young can only be effective when he runs or presents the threat of the run. Vince Young can only run when he's healthy. Vince Young isn't healthy.

Sorry. He's gonna get benched next week in my 2QB league. The only type of league where he should even be considered for a start as of now.

That said, Mike Vick was the #2 overall QB last year in this same league (rushing heavy for QBs) so if VY does get healthy, he starts again. VY finished at the end of the top ten last year in this league.

If he can run, he'll put up stats. He's got a bad wheel right now.

ETA: and they don't need him b/c of a good defense and running game. They can win being conservative meaning even less stats for VY this year. VY will be back later in his career, but this one he's officially Maddened.

Not a terrible game for him except for the 2nd INT when he streaked toward the line of scrimmage with a wide open field ahead of him and could have easily run for 20+ yards, but he then inexplicably pulls up at the last second and tosses the interception into the endzone. Not a good decision, especially with the absolute crap he has to work with at WR. On both of his INT's, his WR's just stopped running their routes. Both times! Even the announcers were dumbfounded. Holy crap they need to get some playmakers at WR on that offense.
