Visanthe Shiancoe... 12th on the updated cheatsheet? (1 Viewer)

Gentlemen,

I know there's hype surrounding Shiancoe ever since the beginning of the year but this guy has produced Bo Diddley squat. He's had a measly 107 yards in five games and yet, you have him ranked 12 ahead the likes of Eric Johnson, Vernon Davis and David Martin who at least busted out last week.

I got Gates on BYE and was looking to grab Davis but this ranking on Shiancoe has at least aroused my curiosity. Why is he top 12?

What's he projected to get?There's a point each week where (just for example not a factual number) ranking 8 and ranking 15 for TEs are only a handful of yards difference between them

 
With so much focus on ADP and the WR's not being able to catch a cold I don't see why you wouldn't bump up Shiancoe. TJax actually looked pretty darn good in the CHI game.

:banned: people get way to critical over whether someone is ranked #12 or #17, when the difference might be five yards, or 0.1 td's... If you are going to go by dodds or whoever, look at the projections rather than the rankings.

:goodposting: people get way to critical over whether someone is ranked #12 or #17, when the difference might be five yards, or 0.1 td's... If you are going to go by dodds or whoever, look at the projections rather than the rankings.

Outside of the top 5 guys we aren't talking about many points here at all. In my main league (non PPR) the difference between the 8th and 12th TE's is all of 2 points. It's a flippin bye week fill in TE. Who cares....

 
I still think Vistanthe Shiancoe is an anagram, I just haven't cracked the code yet.

Sammy Morris is ranked ahead of Julius Jones too :mellow:
