We Need a merge:Vladimir Guerrero left Monday's game in the first inning after getting on the right hand with a pitch.

The HBP followed a homer, but it was on an 0-2 pitch and wasn't intentional at all. Still, warnings were issued. Guerrero appeared to be in a lot of pain and is likely to be sent for X-rays. Reggie Willits replaced him.

Damn, I already declinded a rediculous trade for him this morning. Would be clser to fair if he's out for any amount of time.

What hand was it? If it was his right, it's not that big of a deal for a batter. He could DH and still play. Just can't throw with a broken hand.

X-rays on Vladimir Guerrero's right hand were negative. He's day-to-day with a soft tissue contusion.

The Angels' season is saved. Reggie Willits will fill in if Guerrero needs to miss a few days after getting hit by a Josh Beckett pitch in the first inning of Monday's game.

any time your hand gets hit with a 96 mph fastball it affects your swing. hopefully since the xrays were negative he'll be back by mid-week.hyperbaric chamber vlad...!
