Votto Owners (1 Viewer)

I'm close to panicking myself. Cinci offense is struggling yet there's no sign of Joey at all. This is reason to be worried. I'm waiting for the blurb stating he's leaving the game for the season.

Not panicking at all. He should be back in the lineup by mid-next week based on everything I've read. He's been working out with the team so its not like he is completely ghost.

Yahoo says he's been taking batting practice with the team and will be back soon. How soon we don't know.

I'm not panicking. Of course, I have him in a H2H league where I'm a safe bet to make the playoffs, so I just need him back by September.

Roto owners should certainly be concerned by the whole situation.

I own him in one of my big money roto leagues and I'm not worried yet. He has one of the sweetest swings in baseball today so I don't think it will take him long to get back up to speed. He (apparently) doesn't have any physical issues, so I think he'll be fine. With almost 2/3 of the season yet to play, I don't think there is reason to worry.

Definitely need him to get back to speed as I can't have Giambi trying to keep me afloat in his absense much longer. Now I just need for Reyes to get some superfast healing as the pool of available SS's is the suck.

Baker said yesterday that Votto probably would not be ready until June 30th. I dont get having Votto going on a minor league assignment at all. First time he came back from the dizzy spell, he hits a HR. Then misses some more games, comes back, hits 2 more in the first game. This makes no sense at all. I could see a couple minor league games, but this is ridiculous. 10 days??? i don't get it.

 ...and if it is "stress related", he should work a couple of days as a guy slinging a hot tar mop on a roof. Everytime I think I'm having a hard day at the office, I recall that job and feel a lot better.Aren't these guys supposed to get all the stress related stuff out of the way in little league? Or don't they yell "NO Battah" or "Hit it to right!!! No Right Fielder!!!" "Swing battah battah battah SWING" anymore?

I wouldn't be surprised if they activate him to DH sometime next week. It seems like the last few times he had issues they were always in the field. If he can take BP and play minor league games, I think he can DH.

2-4, a HR, a BB and K tonight, homered on the first pitch he saw for a 2-run shot...

Won't be long, hoping to see him back Tuesday in Toronto..more than likely not until they return to Cinci
