W6 Game Thread - NY Giants V Atlanta (1 Viewer)

I'm so excited right now, I can't even put it into words. Let me quote what I just saw.

1-10-ATL 10 (12:08) W.Dunn up the middle for 90 yards, TOUCHDOWN.
ARE. YOU. KIDDING ME?A T L. 4. L I F E.

Good thing I traded Dunn away this week!

I also traded away Tatum Bell and a week later he won the starting job.

Ugh...

It was starting to hurt watching Vick vulture all the rushing TDs as a Dunn owner... I guess he will just have to run them in from 90 all the time

The Giants are a team that just makes my head spin. They look unstoppable one week and just craptacular the next.
You've got to remember, they are playing the NFL's #1 rushing team this year and for that matter, NFL's #1 rushing team over the last two years.

Tiki just "scored", but Mora challenged it. It should get overturned, as his foot was on the sidelines at about the three, when the ball was at the 1 or so.

How many rushing TDs does Tiki have this year? ZeroHow many rushing TDs does Jacobs have this year? Two

Am I wrong in assuming this based on the data so far?
He obviously is, my point is who cares he going to be a good football player.
I agree he's a solid player, but I wouldn't be happy if I drafted Tiki in the top 5.Jacobs in as I type. Shockey TD though.

Is Barber too small to run the ball in at the goalline?
He certainly isnt. In fact, Tiki has been the Giants' best goalline running back for years. Coughlin just thinks you need to be a big beast - which Jacobs certainly is. However, Jacobs runs too upright and often stops moving his legs. If Coughlin would just open his eyes, maybe the Giants could cure their red zone woes by giving their best player more touches down there - Tiki.

stop it. jacobs is solid at the goal line.don't let the fact that you have tiki in FF cloud your judgement on this point.

Nothing I said is untrue. Jacobs is a phyisical beast - size, speed, and power. However, he does run too tall and he'll often stop his leg drive on contact. He's not as bad at short yardage as say Dayne, who an announcer today laughably called powerful, but he needs to work on maintaining leg drive and pad level. Those are both strong suits of Tiki, and if Coughlin would just realize that huge does not equal success on the goal line the Giants would be a better team. And yes, I have Tiki, but thats partially because Im a lifelong Giants fan. I mainly care that the Giants win and Im quite satisfied with over 220 combined yards from Tiki. Its just a simple fact, Tiki is their best player and the Giants have the best chance to score points when he's on the field and getting the ball.
