I've always thought a worst-to-first waiver wire order is the best setup for a dynasty league since it enables weaker teams to get better, which helps maintain competitive balance and keeps owners from giving up. However, my league is grumbling that the successful teams are being "penalized" and the weaker teams are being "rewarded". What does the shark pool think? Am I wrong in thinking worst-to-first is the most appropriate waiver setup for a dynasty league?
I like the idea to involve strategy when ever possible, blind bid is the way to go!
This reduces WW pickups to whoever happens to check FF websites just as news breaks/someone get's hurt/etc. I don't want my FF season to go into the toilet because I was watching my son's football game, while some other loser who was downloading pr0n happened to notice that my Big Stud RB broke his ankle in practice today. A few years back, I won a league that processed WW that way - simply because I happened to be online when a guy who didn't know much about FF cut a solid RB2 - I picked him up within minutes. The next day everyone was screaming wanting to know how he got on my team. I laughed - I won - but I thought if I would have been any of those other owners, I would be pissed too.
