Waiver Wire & FAAB Discussion - Week 14 (1 Viewer)

Thielen - seems to have returned to being Bryce's safety valve
Parker Washington - have to assume Trevor is out and Jones seems to be targeting him a bunch

Mac Jones
Joshua Palmer
Parker Washington
Juwan Johnson
Isaac Guerendo
Perhaps some preemptive 2025 adds - I like Isiah Davis, who scored this week. Now is the time to look at high upside players to roster for 2025, whether you're already out of the playoffs, or still competing if you have room.

McCormick, Sincere LVR RB
He sure did look good. It's just another head scratching decision by this staff that with a league worst running game and so many injuries that it took this long for him to get off our PS and into a game.

The only problem with McCormick is we will likely be behind a LOT which will take a lot of rushes away from him.

There's also the specter of Mattison and/or White coming back next week, although you'd like to think that ship has sailed and they'll try to give more run to McCormick the rest of the way.

  • Thielen had a monster game.
  • With CMC likely out for the year, if Mason/IGuerendo are available run to them ASAP
Mason kinda sucks. I was all excited I grabbed him in the draft, and even more excited through the first 4 weeks, but he has been a complete dud since then

The shoulder injury set him back. Now that hes healthy he should be a solid RB2 the rest of the way.

💯 and am glad i didn't drop him back into the ether when CMC came back. I am wary though the injury weeks left the door open for Guerendo to show out his skills, looks like he had the TD yesterday. but then i didn't expect a workhorse back like CMC was, so as a RB2 I expect Mason to be just fine.

Maybe I am just mad that I dropped him last week

I actually owned Mason without CMC. Dropped him when CMC came back. Someone else picked him up (not the CMC owner). Traded for CMC and then traded for Mason in a separate deal. It's been quite the journey.

They have been without several OL, including Trent Williams recently. Mason is a good back, but he isn’t a healthy McCaffrey clone.

No one is but JMason is a solid low end RB1

That’s my point to the Mason sucks post.

I would too if my dynasty league allowed more than 5 rbs to be rostered. I have Breece Hall & Braelon Allen & I really want to drop Allen but I know I would regret it.

For yahoo league owners who can drop players who haven’t started…

Anyone worth rostering tonight if you own Mason and can kick him to the curb?

Mcglauphlin
Estime
Moore

If redraft I would drop him for Estime. If dynasty, use your IR spot for Mason and get Estime.

Great week in redraft to block others on a big bye week. If Bryce Young or Adam Thielen are still out there, grab them. Carolina has a easy schedule, could be league winners.

Did you see that wow catch by Thielen?
That was incredible. He is a top 10 WR rest of the year.
I am considering bidding on Thielen in my dynasty league & dropping Dionte Johnson. Opinions?

If you’re in a win now position and think Thielen may crack your starting lineup then ok.

Do it

I could pick up a second DST with Denver on bye, but I think instead I will use my relatively high waiver priority on Guerendo even though I almost certainly won't start him ahead of Bijan, Kamara and B-Rob in a 2 RB/no flex league. Need to block my opponents from getting him
