Waiver Wire Gems - Week 6 (1 Viewer)

If you need to play someone this week I'd say Perine. As a bench stash I prefer Collins
That's how I am feeling. Have Zeke on bye and likely won't need Collins down the road. Also have McCaffrey but am reluctant to start against good Eagles defense and in standard league

Lol Have McCaffrey Crowell Collins and Doug. Besides if Perine plays well he might Wally Pip Kelley.

Perine has had 2 weeks to practice running from QB under center something he didn't do much of in college.

Collins has West Allen Eventually woodhead and Bobby Rainey. Plus another fumble he might no get another carry

You guys saying that Indy is trying to maneuver Gore into being a Colt in the Hall of Fame are confusing baseball and football.

"Enshrinees do not go into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of a certain team. Rather, all of an enshrinee's affiliations are listed equally."

The baseball HoF shows the player with a specific team's hat.  The football HoF has their bust, with no team-specific ensignia.

End of Gore going into HOF as a Colt discussion. Which I already attributed to the OP being drunk.

This appears to be the week where there are a handful of RB's potentially available where one or more could prove startable going forward. I grabbed Collins last week but all situations seem pretty tenuous at best and any one could shake out. Surprisingly got McKinnon while deep in the order but last week could be a high point even though Murray does not look like he did in Oakland where he pulled off some good runs I thought.

who or what says the Colts give a rat's #### about HOF for Gore, when or where was that even discussed? if the Colts front office is publicly talking like this the team is far worse off than I've ever imagined and they're by FAR the worst run franchise in the NFL..

and can we just stop talking about Luck coming back this season already? please , just stop ..he's NOT playing.reports say he's far from being in game-ready shape, why risk injury on what amounts to a 2-3 win team? nonsense..he's NOT , I repeat, NOT playing a down this season. if he was they wouldnt be so coy about his return date.they'd have something concrete to report..they don't have any news.haven't since august.they've known the whole time he's NOT playing...just let it go already.

Mack is a great addition  - the Colts figure to have the 2nd or 3rd pick in 2018 draft..if they use Mack the rest of the season and he holds his own, they won't need Saquon Barkley. they won't need Darnold ( and his many INTs)..they DO need draft picks to built the offensive line to protect Luck.

it's as if the Colts paid Luck hush money on his own prognosis - even Luck isn't saying when or if he'll be back in 2017...

Staring at him,Hunter Henry Or Jack doyle myself.. Kind of worried about Evan Engrams future of double teams.
Ah yes, I also have Engram. :bag:   I hate to carry 3 TEs but wouldn't mind doing it for a couple weeks to see who's coming out on top.

Happy to get McKinnon for 55% of my FAAB (league mates are conservative on spending).

Also picked up Prosise from waivers, who is arguably the most talented of the remaining Seahawks backs (Rawls is physically as talented, but he doesn't seem to have the same vision/awareness as he showed in '15 and '16). It's a big IF, but IF Prosise can stay healthy, he could be a solid flex play or even a viable RB2 in the second half. Might be worth a free pickup this week and a hold/sit in week 7 to see if there is any more clarity in that situations.

I don't agree with most of this regarding Luck.  When Luck is ready he will play.......unless it's after week 9 and they are 2-7..  The Colts can still make the playoffs as of today.  Ryan Kelley should be back this week and the Colts actually have improved their OL on the left side and at center.  Yes, they need some replacements on the right side however.  If Luck isn't ready by week 8 or 9 and they only have 2 or 3 wins, then perhaps they don't play him in 2017 and the Colts pack it in.

Indy needs Barkley.  Almost every team needs Barkley.

Fat Rob is on the WW now in my league after he was dropped for Alfred Morris by the Zeke owner.  Is he a good bench depth grab?  My RB2 is very weak with Aaron Jones/Jamal Williams, Gallman, Mixon, and Riddick.  STD scoring.

Worth grabbing and dropping Williams?

I would drop Riddick for him

Yes, along with probably 100 other guys on your WW.

Yes, Rob Kelley is one of the best buy low’s out there. If he can get healthy he could provide #2 rb #’s for the rest of the season
