Waiver Wire Gems (1 Viewer)

malz

Footballguy
I'm in a deep dynasty league and we had our rookie draft before training camp / preseason. Our first waiver wire gets processed Wednesday before opening Thursday. I wanted to start this thread to discuss possible gems as I have the first waiver pick. Anybody standing out thus far that probably isn't rostered?

12 teams, ppr for wr with IDP- 32 roster + 3 taxi

5 rounds, first 2 rooks only, the remainder free agent and rooks

Almost impossible to say without knowing who is rostered.

You could probably check the Footballguys rankings for yourself.

Look and see what highly ranked players aren't on teams in your league and sign those guys.

Eric Decker, Deon Butler, Taylor Price, Charles Scott, Jordan Shipley, Brian Hartline, Harry Douglas, Jerome Felton.

Just tossing out a few names who may have slipped through the cracks.

The main idea was to keep a thread going of some guys like Jeremy Williams, or a breakout situation like Q Griff a few years ago.

Without knowing who is rostered, I will throw out some names at each position who may or may not be rostered, and who may be worthy of consideration for Dynasty formats.

QB's: John Skelton; Nate Davis; Jonathan Crompton; Mike Kafka; Chase Daniel; Joe Webb; Dan LeFevour;

RB's: Jonathan Dwyer; James Starks; Charles Scott; Deji Karim; Anthony Dixon; Javon Ringer; Lonyae Miller;

WR's: Brandon Tate; Devin Thomas/Malcolm Kelly; Steve Johnson; Harry Douglas; Eric Decker; Mike Thomas; Brian Hartline; Legedu Naanee/Craig Davis; Deon Butler;

TE: James Casey; Shawn Nelson; Jimmy Graham; Zach Miller (Jac); Martellus Bennett;

Bucs :scared: here,

Reggie Brown - he is catching everything in camp

Kareem Huggins - This guy is a huge sleeper and should finally make a name for himself this year in pre-season. All he needs is an opportunity.

Maurice Stovall - he came on at the end of the season and I think they will keep one big WR and it wont be Clayton

12 team 32 man roster with IDP isn't deep at all, actually kinda shallow. But for the sleepers Brandon Tate, javon ringer, Aaron Hernandez, tyrell sutton, Jason Campbell, David gettis, lynell Hamilton, and Dante rosario.

hearing good things about Ogbonnaya and I just scooped him off waivers. Looks to be the #2 in St. Louis and we'll see if SJax can hold up

Gettis is VERY deep. I'm hearing he's not really doing much to impress in camp at all. He's a long ways away, almost not worth a dynasty stash 3 years out. LaFell is who you want there.
