Waiver wire QB's (1 Viewer)

In most leagues, guys like Quinn, Boller & Clemens can be found on the wire this week. Personally I think these guys could put up good QB2 type seasons if they become the regular starter.

Quinn - Will be throwing a lot as the D is terrible; has good weapons in Edwards & Winslow

Boller - Has GREAT weapons around him in Clayton, Mason, Williams, Heap & McGahee/Smith; has plenty of starting experience & started to show flashes before McNair showed up. His time may arrive this year (seriously).

Clemens - Also has very good supporting cast; may be most talented of the 3 listed

My order (I think) would be:

Boller

Quinn

Clemens

We already have a pretty good idea of what Boller will give you, since he was the starter for most of 2004 and parts of '03 and '05. As such, he's a QB3 with very little upside.

Clemens has more upside potential, but we really have no idea what he's capable of. He did well in preseason, but he did not play at all in 2006 and was terrible in the 2006 preseason.

Quinn is a rookie. Rookie QBs are notoriously erratic and are rarely worthy of being on a fantasy roster.

If I had to take one, it would be Clemens. I don't think he would be much worse than Boller, and to be honest I'd rather start Kyle Broflovski than Kyle Boller.

If I had a choice I would pick Gerrard if he's availableBoller gives you nothing, absolutely nothing.Quinn will not play for weeksClemens, not worth the timeIf these 3 are the only people you have to chose from I would suggest not picking anyone.

I think Boller can surprise this year. In his last 6 games as a regular starter, he had 3 games of 3 TD passes and started to show flashes. The McNair came along.. Some QB's take time to "get it" and shouldn't be written off. I think he may fit that category.

I would throw C-Pepp over either one of these three QB's. He looked good in pre-season and has a fairly easy schedule coming up.

I thought Boller would take over as the starter sometime this season heading in - and from what I saw on Monday night I am sure he will. It wouldn't surprise me if he does well if he is given another shot.
